The Covenant (2023)
Blown away!
Wow I'm in tears after watching this film. You will be blown away by the honesty of this story. It's definitely going down in my top five favourite movies, I don't understand the rating on here. Yes it's a war film but not the typical kind of war movie you've seen before. There's literally never a dull moment and the gun battles were another level just amazing production all around. It really makes you think and put yourself in the actors shoes. The acting, the casting and the production couldn't of been better. You got to give it up to Guy Ritchie on this one . And let's not forget the A list actors they really hit it out the park!
The Nurse (2023)
A Real life crime story told in four episodes
Don't believe the bad reviews. This series was one of the best I've seen in awhile. The acting was top notch and the storyline kept me on the edge of my seat for all four episodes. All the characters are relatable especially the "bad nurse"which is what made this story feel so real. I did give it a nine instead of a ten because it seemed a bit rushed in the end but that might of been the idea at only four episodes. It could of been longer but didn't need to be. All in all a solid series but I don't know how close it is to the real life story, either way it's devastating so many lives lost that could of been saved sooner very sad.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
Wth was that
It started off with such promise of a good movie but things quickly turned nonsensical and rather predictable. Was the director afraid to put in a sex scene at the end ?? I mean that would of at least made it make sense instead it was irritating, silly, and pointless.
The Serpent (2021)
Amazing from beginning to end
Easily the best series of 2021 on Netflix. A true masterpiece. I thought it was brilliant and the acting and casting couldn't be more on point. You really get the feeling like you were there. The scenes , the 70's clothes everything was so believable. I loved the jumping from past to present but it did get confusing at times. The ending is sad but perfectly played out. Things in life never really go according to plan or do they. Eventually time catches up to us all sadly.
