How I Met Your Father: Timing Is Everything (2022)
He's the head of the lettuce, get it??
I've been optimistic about this show since the beginning, and it was good to see each episode being better than the last, and seeing people liking the show more and more as it went on.
We all knew though that the season finale would be the decisive factor in whether or not people were going to be looking forward to season 2.
Well I'm glad, because this season finale was not only good for How I Met your Mother's fans (for obvious reasons that I will not spoil), but also really good on it's own. The comedy was better (still not as creative as the original show's, but better), the conflicts were all interesting, and it's a great setup for season 2. Hopefully, with the extended number of episodes, season 2 will get to be more creative and explore different dynamics.
As it stands right now, I'm really excited.
Also Ellen is funny and that's a hill I will die on.
How I Met Your Father: Dirrty Thirty (2022)
The show is finding its footing
Once again this episode seems to top the others in term of quality and chemistry between the cast member. It was a very good episode to explore the different relationships between the character and so far it feels like the show have been improving for each episode, which is great news.
This episode was also the last one to appear in the trailer and to have been shown to critics, so the next episodes are total mysteries.
Can't wait to see where everything goes, the show has been going good so far and keeps getting better, I'm all for it.
How I Met Your Father: The Fixer (2022)
Better chemistry between the group members, this episode felt more natural.
I think the first 2 episodes were pretty good. Not perfect by any means, but way better than people anticipated. The biggest complaint I and many people had was a lack of chemistry between members of the group.
Well I'm glad to say that this is improving greatly.
This episode had a more "classic" sitcom structure, where characters were separated into groups of two and each following and a different little adventure. Without going into spoilers, the pairing worked very well and the group as a whole felt way more comfortable around each other.
The episode also got a pretty good heartfelt moment and an interesting ending opening a lot of doors for the future.
This show still needs to improve quite a bit before it can even compete with How I Met your Mother. But the efforts aren't going unnoticed.
