Lucifer: Family Dinner (2021)
Lucifer is incapable of love (he says)
But his actions from watching the past 4 and a half seasons prove otherwise. I mean Love is not about saying ''I love you.'' it's about your actions first and foremost, and if Sacrificing his life to save Chloe 2 times (First when he was shot by Malcolm in season 1, and he prayed as he was dying that all he asks is for God to protect her, then the second time in season 2 ''A Fine Day to Die'' episode where she was poisoned, he killed himself and went to Hell, also knowing he might very well get stuck there, still did it anyway to save her life to get the antidote formula.) And many other examples like whenever he protected her jumped in front of the axe, there are too many of these things to put yourself in harm's way in order to protect Chloe, those are obviously actions of Love for her, so yea I don't really get his reasonings.
That being said, this episode was pretty interesting, the family dinner had some great acting from Tom Ellis - as always, and a lot of blame to go around, but for me this show has always been sort of a proof that Love is the most important thing.
Also I really like this season much more than season 4, it's definitely really interesting now that God came down from Heaven and is trying to reconnect with his ''children''.
The Blacklist: The Postman (No. 173) (2023)
Wujing storyline is over
The previous one was definitely my favorite episode this season, it was everything we love about Blacklist and Reddington. This episode was an interesting one, Red still continues to work with the task force, and this time it has The Postman, an engineer who has been wrongfully imprisoned, and was planning a revenge on the Attorney German who was behind his conviction, he spent 25 years in prison being innocent. It's a bit of a stretch, but I think that Reddington might use this guy for some future job, like he usually does with the blacklisters. Otherwise this was Cooper's first case, and he believed Lawrence was innocent back 30 years ago when he was sentenced.
I wonder what happens in the rest of the season, since this is the final season, Red is now safe as far as his FBI connection, but I still wonder if they will ever reveal who Reddington really is. If the the episode have great stories like the previous episode I don't really care. 8/10 solid episode.
Lucifer: Partners 'Til the End (2021)
I didn't like this whole season
I agree with people who said it should have ended with Season 5. I liked some moments of Season 6, but any episode as a whole I didn't like. Lucifer was my favorite show, and I thought all seasons up to Season 5 were great. But this season doesn't make any sense, I didn't like the whole story with Rory, with the time travel, it was just ridiculous.
Also notice how the trailer is really misleading for this season, they showed something like ''the whole world is falling apart, apocalypse is nigh.'' etc.. And they put there some of the scenes, but in the show it wasn't really there at all. They only talked about the world is ending, but all they showed was Ella's statistics, and one frog fell down.. Explanation: The Angels were answering prayers. Just really stupid. It makes no sense.
And all this show was about Redemption, right? And Lucifer wasn't even ''redeemed'' so to speak. Being a Therapist in HELL is considered a redemption? Ugh.
Not to mention Earth is already Hell, so this show had that completely wrong as well. Not that it's supposed to be according to the bible, no matter how many Bible references they put there.
I didn't hate all this season, so for the whole season 6 I would give it maybe 4/10 because some moments were cool, and I laughed a few times.. Didn't even make me cry once (Which season 5 made me cry in every episode pretty much, and the previous seasons also)
But I just didn't like this finale at all, they just put the music there with things happening, which is just boring.. Most of the season was boring as hell to be honest, with a few good moments.
I've watched the entire show 4 times, with Season 5 only 3 times. This would be my ratings to the whole thing:
Season 1, 2, 3 10/10 Season 4 9/10, Season 5- 9/10 Season 6 - 4/10.
God Friended Me: The Mountain (2020)
Strange ending
I really like this show, watched all episodes, and found it very uplifting. So now I wonder what the ending meant, and as with most shows they do not show you, like let's say afterlife, or God. Miles was searching for God, or who is behind the God account, and it lead him to this mountain in Nepal. Then a boy came to him and told him ''Come on Miles, she is waiting for you.'' So it is really open for interpretation, is God a woman? We've had more movies where God was a woman (Example Dogma from Kevin Smith.) This just doesn't feel like the very end, I expected that it will be revealed, it's the same like with most shows I am never satisfied with the ending. I'm giving it 7/10, it is still cool that Cara and Miles fell in love again, Rakesh and his girl, too. Ali was healed.. It's just the ending that really disappointed me with not revealing who is the ''She'' who was waiting for Miles. Someone pointed out it might be his mother, but then it would mean that the mountains in Nepal are Heaven? That's interesting too I guess..
God Friended Me: Prophet & Loss (2019)
Really unrealistic
I really don't like Cara's character, especially in this episode. Her defending her stepfather, who is a criminal, and blaming Miles? Also why is she so mad at him, this guy isn't even her real father, and she knows him for like a few months only, this is completely stupid and unrealistic, and I just hate Cara, for being so stupid.. I also hope like the other review said that Cara will be written off this show, enough is enough, she is really annoying.
