You know I have never been into Star Treck but had nothing to watch and watched The Orville and thought it decent so I watched Discovery and thought it pretty good! Michelle Yough made the show. I tried to find something similar and everything looked super old and this was the only one that had the same feel as Discovery. U thought it was decent but more malevolent serie would have been better. I tried a lot of the other series and they where way too old and cheesy! If they want new fans they need to build on Discovery and go from there. Also I tried Piccard but it was awful imo as it was too much off ship I decided to jump ship! Lol.

Have tried Star Treck a few times over the years since I have Paramount and their the main series when you scroll thru but I could never get thru an episode, I always turned them off within 5 minutes. So I has nothing to watch the other night and tried the Orvulle and ended up actually liking it. So I read this was the most similar? Any ways I almost turned it off right away because the main actor was awful and I didn't like the look of the CGI but after a few episodes it got better and the main actor did too ( well to where I could stand her anyways and I like Jason Isaacs. I finished one season and people say The Orville ripped this off blah, blah but I liked that better and it had likable characters spoiler I only really liked the Klingon guy that was human looking. He was the only interesting one with depth and Isaacs was ok. I may try another season but I don't know if the acting will be up to par. I also don't like how every creature is a klingon and that I had t read subtitles every time they show them. I could never be a Trekkie.

Edit to add.. I was reading Strange new worlds was better! Hahaha! I think these shows are not even written by Millenials but an even younger group of species. In just the trailer the guy with the "hair " is a moron , the acting's awful and the writing as well. I really don't get the appeal of Star Treck!?! I liked Battlestar Galactica when I was like 12 but I was 12 ya know... I'm editing again after now being almost through with 4. I have to say Michelle Yeoh is now my favorite! It's a shame she's gone around half way thru 3 she made the show. I like season 1 the best then 2 and 3 was decent too but 4 while watchable isn't as good.

Think I wrote a review foe this in my old account i cant get back into? I remember watching a few episodes and thinking it awful? But I had nothing to watch and was scrolling thru and decided to try it again. Would be much better if not for the stupid ( what they think is humour of Scott Grimes( I cannot stand his character.)! Even if you are going to make a space program it can be funny but not ridiculously stupid. I know there was a script but he is the most annoying unintelligent character besides Seth ( yes he's awful)! I like Isaac! I think a more inteligable approach could have made it even better but some of the dry guy humour kind of ruins a lot of it!

I wanted to edit now that I've watched alot more. I liked season 1 .more than 2. I liked the storyline with Isac too bad they ruined that. I like when they go to the different planets and it shows the different life forms etc. Season 2 wasn't as good as 1 and I'm on New Horizons where I'm a but confused as it's right after the Isac thing so I thought Hulu had them backwards and this should have been 2. I don'tlike some of the new people in this one and I wish they'd just take out any humour as it's stupid and at inappropriate and doesn't add anything and dumbs it down. It's usually that Malloy guy and I have to fast forward his stuff. I know they wrote him like that but it adds nothing to the show. I'm on New horizons now and don't like a few of the new people. We'll see I've like 2 episodes left.

Thought there was going to be some huge revelation or something? No, the only thing is this "tape"? I swear I've heard him interviewed before like 20 years ago in something I watched on him? Also it sounds fake and like it was made for a movie or something because the main detective talking sounds like a scripted old style voice ( like they all spoke in old movies} also ( I turned it off in like 15 minites because everyone talking sounded to upbeat/excited and it's like it's made for millenials. Even in that short time it erased all the really creepy, disturbing stuff I'd seen before because they treat the material like it's funny. And the main guy( who somehow got a hold of a tape that supposedly never existed has like zero credibility. I don't even know what I was expecting but not this and I'm tired of all the documentaries coming out on things that had been done before sand better!

I wanted to edit after googling a bit and finding out these tapes that were acquired by this James buddy had been in a safe for like 50 plus years and the person in possession of these tapes( they had in a safety deposit box? Why weren't they logged into evidence and how were they not lost if they've existed this long and why give them to some guy all this time later. Yeah lacks all credibility. Should say at the beginning a fake tape we made or what have you!

I usually love shows like this but if you're writing one about fictitious characters maybe write a cohesive story! I watched Merlin and hated it at first but it's 1000 times better than this incoherent trite! Ir comes across as a badly written disjointed mess. The film takes are too long, nothing really happens except a few random things that don't even connect! The main protagonist that plays Aurther is awful! Even Marsana brief performance is horrible. Ian is much better in Outlander. Everyone looks and acts like they just got their lines right before the scene. No one looks like royalty and they aren't at Camelot which makes it harder to discern who is and who isn't in fact they all look like peasants and why oh why can't period pieces stick to proper English of the time!?! That's how you know someone without any knowledge of history writes these horrific period pieces. Any ways I'll probably finish but I've no hopes of making sense of any of it i just have nothing to watch atm!

Was awful! I don't know why I give films a chance anymore because each one disappoints me more than the last and I was a film connoisseur but i haven't watched anything worthy in years which is why I stick to series! I saw the trailer and it looked decent but after 10 minutes I almost turned it off as the acting's awful as usual! Th main guy( don't know his name nor care} is good looking but can't act his way out of a paper bag and the writing was awful and amateurish like it was written by someone too ill experienced and young to write ( or they were just a horrible writer)/!? But I do know I started doing things around the house because i could care less abut this trite but didn't want to have to search for something until i was through! Could they at least write something decent?!? I'm surprised they have any Oscar nominations anymore....

A half. If not for some of the characters I'd probably rate it higher but there isn't one single character I liked until Adam and then he became unlikable. I started watching because I had nothing and didn't want to search for hours and this was the first one I got through an entire episode. One main theme I'm seeing a lot is te main protagonists are always completely unlikeable characters! Emilly isn't getting revenge! Revenge doesn't take this darn long! She is so unlikable because she is blinded by her actions and so far I really have no idea who this Takida is?!? Except they've changed actors multiple times. She could have let the Greysons just destroy themselves or took a page out if her brother from the orphanage who had revenge in a day and played the game better than her. She's obsessed and a person obsessed will always be ruled by emotion. Oh I have to say Madeline Stowe looks great for her age ( all my exes had crushes on her) and she plays a decent villian but all of it is the same thing over and over...

One Piece (2023– )

I still have a few episodes left but I'm liking the weird quirkiness of this. I watched the partial trailer scrolling by before it came out and put it in my list. To be honest I didn't think i was going to like it but I was wrong. So far it's been extremely funny, exciting and entertaining! I like several of the actors and the guy who does buggy is really good. I kept trying to guess who he was. His laugh sounded like Gustaf Skarsgard but then I could tell it wasn't him the longer his scene went. I don't know how the H#ck there's over 300 reviews when it just came out!!?! I don't know the books but I can tell you I'm really liking it thus far I'll update after I finish if needed...

Wanted to try this for a while but it wasn't on any of my streaming services. Ah it's ok. The filming and production value isn't that of say an HBO or Showtime series. I was super surprised Jamie Dornan's in it. If it was a but darker( like that one series about fairytales a few years ago) forgot the name but I remember Kim Catral was in it. I'm not a huge fan of Grimm either but in production value and acting it isn't as soapy. I'll probably continue when I don't have anything because there's so many seasons ( which I don't know how they're going to fill that up)? Oh and spoiler... I kind of wanted to stop the minute they got rid of Dornan and I did so I'll probably wait a while. There's not many characters I really like tho Rumpelstitskin (sp) is pretty good. Editing now that I've watched more. Maybe some spoilers.. Now that I think I just started season 5? I l guess I'm liking it more because it's mostly the only show I've watched since I started but there's so many episodes in one season it's like 1 season is 2-3 of other series. It started getting more and more ridiculous by season 3 I think it was? Every season there's some new problem that takes foreeeever to fix! Like 12 episodes or more it's too much! I can't remember what episode it was or what season( I think somewhere in 3) I thought it was finished, it was like a last goodbye episode and then I looked and I think there were like 4 more seasons or so? I still can't stand Emma and I'm really starting to get sick of Snow white and Charming! Ut's pretty predictable to a tee what they will say and do now. I like Bell at first but now she's just a broken record. The only one who provides consistent entertainment is Rumplestilskin. ( sp) Oh and I'm on and on I raise my rating to an almost 8 now but after Emma became the dark one and all that the show's just gotten bleak and repetitive so I think I'm going to move on now but to me this is better than Grimm, Legends, Vampire diaries etc but not as good as teen wolf. I finished last night at the end of 6 when I saw they went and ruined it and basically made everything null and void from the last 6 seasons! All new cast! Same characters but with different actors. Henry is in it but for a brief moment in the opening. Only He and Regna and him on a motercycle!?! Really! Then there's a brand new everything so I stopped. Why even make a 7th season?!? I mean it took me forever to start like the old actors and now all new everything! No thanks!

For Elsas character growth etc. I know Yellowstone is a popular series and I might add some spoilers... Alerting you now! If it wasn't for Elsas character and growth I wouldn't have continued! The whole mess could have been avoided had they only taken the TC or UP railway! It couldn't have costed much more and would of alleviated them from all this misery but I guess that's the point of it all! If not for Elsa I'd of never continued! I watched this and 1923 and that was much better imo except for Elsa and her bravery and character development etc i would not have finished! And Tim Migraw and Faith Hiil's acting stanards are a mile apart I'd of never know they were a couple IRL! So their marriage must s##ck or Faith is not a good actress! But know I wanted to turn this off like 4 episodes in until Elsa became interesting! If not for her the show would be aweful!

An 8 but I've only watched the 3 or 4 episodes released so far. I turned it off right away then went back because I looked and had nothing and I usually like Harlen Cobens stuff( well except the last 2 series I saw. I loved Goosebumps growing up and this is like it but more for a bit older target . It's funny because when I was about 10 there was this supposed haunted house near me but it was way inside these trees so we would just sit and look through them at it. Lol. Made me wonder if there was a way if I'd go looking thru the windows? Lol. Tho I'd never just in and be all hello, anybody home? Haha like they always do on TV. If there is a house no one answers almost 100% of the time people are all oh let me walk in. I haven't figured out the witch like lady and it seems like they are time travelers or something? Idk. I'll continiue and update if needed.

People are so naive! Reading it must e right they did they're research! Lol. Ok sure. They said the f word all the time back then! I use it all the time 35 BC! Watch rome! It is more historically correct than this junk! Also cockney accents didn't exist either and I've 300 characters left and nothing much to say as people are comparing this to Spartacus which was a joke of a serie . People are clueless about history because of these abominations made purely for entertainment reasons. I mean if they had the appropriate accents and they didn't use the f word every other minute it could have been decent but no they couldn't help themselves.

I saw a few bad reviews that were horribly low! I love Douglas Henshell so I decided to watch! Not bad more like an Acorn or Brittbox series. For Netflix wasn't bad. The storyline was decent compared to most the J@njk put out by Netflix over the last 2 years! This is BBC network etc. Sure it was highly implausible but better than 90% of the stuff o Netflix lately and I'm so sick of having to write 600 character reviews when I've contributed so many over the years! With all the junk out there that seems like it's written by 8th graders this is not terrible and definitely watchable and if it was BBC it would have gotten better reviews!

This isn't True blood or Teen Wolf both of which I hated when I first watched them! But somehow these actors are awfull and have zero redeeming qualiries and I'm a female so it's safe to say all the female actors are awful! Peter mensah from True blood are the only good actors in it are hum and a few others. Other wise it;s cheesy and not really worth it as i could only get thru a few episodes! They ned better female actors because this is a common theme today and i have way too many characters left! But this is cheesy and awful this far! I don't know what else I could write! 18 still.... I clicked n the most recent reviews and read a couple and go from there... But the first 6 are ridiculous! I was never going to even entertain this ( because beyond Rocky I didn't know what to expect)?!? I'm not a big fan of stalone but I've watched 4 episodes so far and I stay up until about 4-5am and I wanted to continue! Since I've run out I'm watching shows I never usually would but so far this is decent! And the Sopranos couldn't get though 1 episode over the years but apparently i find this amusing because if I didn't I wouldn't be able to get thru 10 min. Oh and i did almost turn it off but it was like 2am so I kept going. I'll update my review if necessary when I watch more....

Only thing I realized from an hour of this junk is how much Bill actually does look like his brother Alexander. From the awful narration to me just thinking in my head how Bill looks like Alexander with his face like that or his head turned like that! There was no character build and i just didn't believe any of it was happening more like it was being acted and I was just thinking the whole time and wandering. I'm not even sure what the premise was but I'm guessing kid hates religion and turns into a killer or whatever. It wasn't clever and yes I turned it off before the half way mark but if it didn't make an impression after like an hour I was certain it never would!...

Far! I've tried this many times an couldn't get through an episode so I went a couple in and I think I watched all of one! Wentworth ( a female prison show) and Oz make this look hilarious and like Disney land. Now I remember why I never watched it with my ex! The 2 main characters are not just horrible actors but are just unlikable. I think( Michael is his name) is like a robot! The only decent, interesting characters are the ones that aren't the main ones! I like Tbag! Had no idea who he was and looked him up and perhaps he's good because its natural to him? Idk how this is so popular with Oz and Wentwoth etc out there but I'm going to give it a few more episodes and update! Oh and the DB Cooper thing is a joke and Michael comes across as an idiot with a low IQ not some genius.

Is decent. I had nothing to watch and I think I tried it before but this time I got thru a season. I don't know why the main protagonists are always unbearably unlikable!?! The Mike guy is awful I can't stand him. I like Manny Montna in many things but in this he is't the tough guy, more insecure guy. It's an interesting watch and usually I watch UK shows if they're crime based. I liked Daniel Sinjata in Rescue me and he's good here just not as funny but everyone is so reckless and inept. Supposedly it's based off a true story and I'm thinking in what universe do different branches working together much less living in the same house?!? Most of the characters are ( slow horses) lol, not even that more like CI's turned and all living in one house . They are reckless and get so many people killed and are morons but somehow it's watchable...

Had this in my watch list but it sounded boring so I waited until last night to watch it because I was short on things as usual. I must say this would have worked better as a film not a serie( because of the indie vibe)! I feel they wasted too much time on flashbacks and nor enough on Danny. Instead of his aunt explaining everything or him going into a program for re- integration ( which he desperately needed ) to avoid becoming like his father! Weather hereditary or brought on by circumstance was never explaned. Idk. The whole thing made me mad that he had no support to re'enter into society and be checked for mental illness etc. I partially blame his aunt for hiding the truth and telling him right from wrong and monsters etc weren't real.! Hiding it from him was more harmful then helpful! I also wonder if the dad was like this prior to the events that conspired.

Which is why I mostly stopped watching movies unless I've absolutely nothing to watch and Netflix adds old movies as new s I didn't know it had been out a while! Ir's as exactly as you would suspect it to be! Like a 10 year old wrote it! And done many times before! SPOILERS Perhaps if there was a twist and somehow it was all planned but no! Michael early is supposed to be some CEO of a major company and Swank is a moron and never the actress she was made out to be! She could be a clone of Garner but that's another story! If you like cliche junk that's predictable and badly acted you'll probably love this junk!

Far! I tried to watch this a few times over the years and it was too cheesy for me! And like usual I had nothing and decided to try again and just let it toll. The acting is pretty much awful. Like " hey I'm reading off a piece of paper"! I'm not sure how I ever thought Campbell was a decent actor? Perhaps because I was in my teens? He is the worst sniveling , emotional idiot! It's implausible that he or any of these CDC characters would be who they are. I have but 4 episodes left but it looks like t's a whole different cast next season? Idk as i've not one any research( which I usually do if I really like something. But I will finish season 1 and see if by some chance it gets better.

Now. I tried to watch this a few times over the years and could never finish an episode( I did remember watching a few when traveling later). Any ways I stared on the second episode and I think I've watched about 9 so far. So far it's ok but I like vampire stuff where( as per legend) they are all good looking and have foreign accents. I mean Bill's Swedish and speaks it sometimes so they could of had at least him have one and Bill his British one! It's hard for me to believe he and Paquin have been together all these years as they have no chemistry and are awkward together( ulike Russel and Rhys in the Americans) I could tell immediately the first sex scene.. I also don't like the look of their fangs. So far I like Jason, Sam, Tarra and the guy who's mom works at the church and I did like Renee( Lol). I'll update as I finish more. But for now having nothing this is fine but I don't watch it first like I do with something I'm really into...

Far! I hate to admit I pulled something from my childhood because I had nothing else to watch. I mean I loved the books as a kid and wanted to marry ( I think) Shaun cassidy? But any ways II had nothing else to watch and was like ok I'll try. I must admit I like the young hardy boy. He is funny, resourceful , and a heck of a lot smarter than the older brother. I watched about 6 episodes and looked for something else and while I admit I enjoyed it the younger brother can't carry the show! He s basically the only likable character. I may continue on because I do like the younger one but will the older one make it unbearable?!? I'll give it a few more episodes( oh and I like his partner in crime as well)! " I'm not looking to pad my resume. Haha!

Tried to watch this many times over the years and never got past about 2 episodes. I really didn't have anything so I decided to watch. The first season was ok. But why do they act so creepy and go along with the reckonings surely they all could over take the sheiff ( Oh 1 did) it was only logical they wouldn't kill the person if they could do the hob. SPOILERS Why get rid of most of the people from season 1?!? And that murdering kids in charge! Funny that all they learn about is biology and procreation. EWW with the way they did it in the room! They even needed instructions for that. I wonder since none of them aged being in the pod why Jason did? And where were they getting meat from? Most of the people would have lived out their lives on earth instead of that H#ll hole! I mean it was thousands of years before humanity was wiped out. Oh and funny ( can't remember his name) how he would never give them info on the Abbues because somehow he was living among them and having a baby with one! Hence how upset he was and was like" how'd you find out about the females? Because he was like he was 3000 years ago and wanted the knowledge to himself. And they're idiots not knowing they wanted her and they should release her! Oh and I forgot to add. Haha! Where did they make the Nazi looking uniforms?!? I was surprised they all weren't doing the hail thing to Jason!

A 7! You know I use to be a film connoisseur but nothing's been worthy lately. I haven't scene a decent movie in years so I've mostly watched series. I have run out of series as of late and watched this. I will say it reminded me a bit like Hot skull? But it was decent just could have been more detailed. Like the plot with the priest! They should have delved more into him and the others! What were they ( as they never showed any of these things to take on being form. More like they played on your fears and tried to make you believe and do things tho only really 1 person had fallen to this belief. Kinda ridiculus but not too bad!
