With Honors (1994)
Watchable schlock
Btenden Fraser is decent and befriends a bum who's not dumb. It's quite predictable, but watchable. Decent character arcs and an OK love interest in Moira. Otherwise kinda meh.
Abominable (2019)
Uninspired and Boring
This movie feels like it was written by AI, lacks any unifying vision and the characters are all completely flat. If you're looking to watch a film with the family this isn't it. It's so cliche that even an 8 year old will cringe at it. Not to mention some Chinese propaganda which was also hidden in the film (check out the map). The characters are all going to Tibet, but of course that's also never mentioned.
Catfight (2016)
One if the worst films I've ever seen
Thr inky interesting part is Anne Heche as an art dealer. The fight scenes are over the top and fake, which only serves to make the rest of the plot seem trivial and fake as well. Absolutely awful.
Red Notice (2021)
Design by Committee garbage
No vision, no character development. It feels like some AI writing program watched a bunch of action films then spit out this script. There's no chemistry in the film and it's awful in every way. No doubt there will be sequels too. Ugh.
Ninja III: The Domination (1984)
The best Ninja film of the 80s.
Ninja III is a masterpiece. It has nothing to do with I and II, so you don't need to see these before watching Ninja III. It perfectly encapsulates everything great about the 80s. Quentin Tarantino stated at the Jerusalem Film Festival that after Runaway Train and 52 Pick Up, Ninja III is his 3rd favorite film ever made by Cannon Films. It's got Magic, Ninjas, Aerobics, and everything else 80s that we all love.
