They ruined Jack's "Garrett" character and thus the film
31 March 2003
had him cancel the relationship with Aurora in a shockingly false way. It reeked........so corny I almost threw up. Ruined any credibility & entertainment value the film had. I couldn't believe they would have Garrett say those totally lying and corny lines; unbelievable & shockingly stupid & corny. Up to that point he was total entertainment. Then they decided to have him, unexplainably, ram a knife thru Aurora's body. So all of a sudden, Garrett was supposed to become a believable slayer. Ridiculous.

This babe has got to be the most appealing woman I have seen anywhere in a long time. I think she is just absolutely wonderful on the Matlock series. Thank goodness they are still running Matlock.. So wholesome, so exciting, such interesting stories.

Too Bad

Too bad there wasn't made a Madame Sousatzka II and a Madame Sousatzka III with successive students. This film does more for any plausible immortality than her laughable, daffy & wild reincarnation baubles. Sousatzka is one hell of a story, and an A+ piece of direction by John Schlesinger. They should have made it at least twice. MacLaine and the director were absolutely the very best. Doubtless her best film maybe incl the Apt.

AAA+++ for the acting of McLaine and also the mother of the boy and the boy himself too, and everyone else in this movie .

This movie was wonderfully written, produced and directed. A+. Easily a 3 star movie, esp if you are one of the many music persons who also play an instrument. However, I was a bit bewildered about the contribution of Twiggy and the boy's kissing her. MacLaine was outstanding!!

I remember the eve that Rich Hall gave us

his proud little word "sniglet, " thou for the life of me, I can't remember how he applied the word. I do remember however, that his use of the word was one of the unfunny moments To Me of a show that otherwise kept me in stitches and almost busting a gut every time it was on the tele. BTW, I thought Goldie was a regular; No ???
