Titane (2021)
A shining star in the making.
I have never seen or heard of Agathe Rousselle and from now on I will be following her career till I die. What a brilliant talent to be able to play a women who is damaged severely in a car accident when she was a child to become a dancer on cars for car enthusiast and then to become raped (yes) by a car and impregnated by the car. She pretends to the long lost son to a fire captain doing the most bizarre things with in his fire station. I seriously can not believe this movie. If you can handle the most bizarre in horror then you will LOVE Titane.
Sid and Nancy (1986)
Courtney Love would have made a better nancy
Cant stand that Courtney Love thing. But Chloe Webb played Nancy as if she were a cartoon character. Yes Nancy Spongey was a wretched lass, as Sid was a useless mess. I have seen footage of the both of them and they where not this cartoonish.
Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon (1998)
Derek Jacobi was brill
Even if your not a follower of great artist Francis Bacon this story will appeal to anyone who is interested by dark dysfunctional relationship stories. Daniel Craig as Dyer the confused lover. Derek Jacabi became Francis bacon for this. VERY dark.
Prick Up Your Ears (1987)
80's classic demimode
Joe Ortan meets John Lahr and they start a screwy relationship. Orton becomes a famous playwright and bathhouse lover and things start to end. Lahr ofts Orton and that's that.
The Girl with All the Gifts (2016)
THIS IS HAPPENING NOW
Post-apocalypse zombie film concept from a very different point of view. Hybrid children who are part zombie, part human are trapped in a corporation thats studies future vaccines. This comes in handy when Melanie, a young girl scheduled to be dissected, escapes and is able to navigate the world since the zombies (called "hungries" in this film) don't perceive her as a threat..CB.
Les affamés (2017)
Unknown low-budget indie
A French-Canadian zombie thriller with an enteresting turn of events. Exciting! The zombies react to sound. The survivors must stay as quiet as possible to survive, very intense and plausible in these times. An unknown low-budget indie well worth it for any Zombie fans.
The Babadook (2014)
Well done Aussie horror
Father dies, mom works at aged home, Son Samuel is left alone to dream up all sorts of bunk. Feeling hunted by the Babadook entity he designs very sussy boobtraps. Lovely camera work and the child actor Noah Wiseman was convincing.
Boys in the Trees (2016)
Beauty of a horror film.
Nicholas Verso made something unique Boys in the Trees. At the outset it could be construed as a horror movie, since it takes place around Halloween in 1997. But at its core, it explores adolescence and memory, as cool skater kid Corey and bullied outcast Jonah converge one night and unravel some mythology. -Audra Schroeder.
To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995)
Let me tell you why this film was made
In the old days there always had to be a film where the men had to dress in drag. This was a punishment in the Hollywood circles. An initiation. So is it about real trans people? No my deary it is not. It was always meant to be a mockery of us.
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)
Before LBGTQ exsisted...
All we had was there was "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" as a film to see a reflection of ourselves. Oh there where others if you where pffft. Bernadette (T) travels and performs with two Drag Queens with alot of mishaps and revelations. Felicia JollyGoodFellow, played by Guy Peirce is worth the reason to watch. Beauty! The other Sheila is played by Hugo Weaving to painful perfection. I identify mate. Before all this totalitarian 'proper pronoun' jargon we had fun, let loose and where not constrained by letters and tiles.

Velvet Goldmine (1998)
BOWIE!
An amazing love story for those who are BI or curious. Brian Slade is an enigmatic flamboyant character based upon the beloved saint David Bowie. Kurt Wild is the Iggy Pop love love interest. Where their affection ever able to manifest in real life? Who Knows, but on film it is. This tale is all told by a reporter Aurther Stewart as he discovers his own sexuality. Beautifully acted by all. Must watch for those who are glam-rock curious.
Girl Next (2021)
TG friendly horror.
Many a fine Sheila has undergone this type of training where one sends their mate to be reprogrammed by a bunch of pissed clowns to become a submissive slave. A sense of authenticity permeates this film. As in Lorian being reprogrammed to be a docile sex toy. The realism of the scene of the with the wife revealing her true nature, (know that one). The event at tea time was the wittiest chatter. If you fancy a fright film that is visually sumptuous and intelligent give "Girl Next" a go at it .

Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
Loved this back in the day
Would have given it a nine back in the day. I just recently watched this again and saw too many flaw.
Takes a bit to kick in. Sad but true tale.
She is a fine sheila thou.
Cougar Town (2009)
No
Please stop creating and celebrating mentally ill women and portraying it as normal.
Not all women are drunks, slutty or mentally weak.
Showing a strong female who is just a person wouldn't make good television. I had to endure all of season 1
because roommate got to choose. She pretended to like it and agreed that we will not be watching season 2.
