Truly gripping, memorable and touching film based on a true story
8 February 2024
The story behind this exciting and overwhelming film really existed and corresponds to one of the most memorable air disasters in the history of humanity that everyone remembers as the "Andes air tragedy" or even as the "miracle of the Andes".

This is an incredible story.

An impressive story about the human being's ability to cling to life even in the most extreme situations.

With the addition of a reading level, that is, how people can manage to stay together in an extreme condition with the constant specter of death.

The continuous narrative and emotional rhythm of the film also has a pleasant internal variety and for this reason it never gets boring.

Absolutely recommended.

Spring (I) (2014)
This film is an absolute masterpiece
24 September 2023
Spring not only manages to blend different genres - especially horror and romance - but also directorial styles from typically distant worlds.

A mature and conscious work that showcases a well-defined style with a script that tells a deep romantic love story.

The visual elegance of the scenes, a mellow and delightful soundtrack and intrinsic quality material elevate this film above the usual cinematic products.

It evokes a feeling that has something of the sublimity: it is mixed at the same time of attraction and repulsion, of disgust and pleasure, of terror and joy.

Wonderful utopia of love lost in time but also an ancient mystery of inexplicable horror.

A horror that wants to talk about feelings, beautifully told against a fairytale backdrop.

Transcends all genres to deliver a story that feels entirely unique.

The film was highly praised and received enthusiastic reviews.

"Spring is one of the best horror films of this decade. A film that has blown me away." - Guillermo del Toro

"A beautiful and unique love story ... a real accomplishment of genre and tone." - Richard Linklater

"Phenomenal....a hybrid of Richard Linklater & H. P. Lovecraft" - rogerebert.

One of the best things ever produced by the Internet
9 August 2023
A satirical dance remix that parodies Christian Bale's rant on the set of Terminator Salvation.

A YouTube classic cult. Hilarious, it was a Internet success.

Even Bale himself said he had heard the remix and thought that RevoLucian did a good job.

The funniest thing is that clubs have started playing it as it was tremendously funny.

A pulsating tune, a genius piece of mixing, a brilliant club piece of music.

One of the most addictive choruses of dance music.

One of the best mash-ups and spoofs success.

This all-time classic banger was finished and posted on YouTube less than twenty four hours after the public release of Bale's meltdown. And it still rocks.

Years later, this is still one of the best things ever produced by the Internet.

Spring's spoof
9 August 2023
Special content of the Blu-ray, this short film is a sequel / spin-off parody of the film Spring. Between the drama, the sentimental and of course the humorous comedy, it will make you laugh a bit.

A black-and-white short about a villager named Filippo, who has a minuscule part in Spring and stars here as a romantic rival to Evan. Nadia Hilker appears in a cameo.

What's interesting is that Nadia Hilker has repeatedly stated that the film crew who worked on Spring is the funniest of all the productions in which she participated as an actress. I think this short, somehow, manages to make us understand the humor that was in the air on the set of Spring.

Deeply interesting and richly informative
9 August 2023
This feature-length documentary is composed of interview footage shot during production as well others made after the film's completion. It provides a complete overview of Spring's creation, from initial concept through pre-production, location scouting, principal photography, editing, visual effects, sound mix and scoring.

The two directors, Benson and Moorhead, supply information about their process and intentions, as they describe the development of particular scenes, with emphasis on the actors' contributions, point out subtle visual effects, describe how locations were found and illuminate numerous details about the making of Spring.

Divine dreamy emotions
9 August 2023
Absolutely phenomenal concert.

An unbelievable journey that is impossible to describe in words.

All the feeling that you will experiment in your soul listening to this magnificent work is memorable.

This event is mind blowing. This truly is a one of a kind band.

Pure moments of brilliance.

A transcendental moment in music history. A triumph that add new dimensions to the music. A monument to human expression and consciousness.

The fact that this was Sato's final performance and their last performance as a band make this the culmination.

It's truly amazing.

All these emotions seems to define the meaning of life.

Nothing can be compared to this.

So magnificently beautiful.

Steins;Gate (2011–2015)
Excessively and unjustifiably overrated
9 July 2023
I love science fiction and the theme of time travel has a boundless charm and unparalleled attraction. I had high expectations for this television series that were almost completely disappointed. There are some narrative elements with potential but the balance is boredom, dissatisfaction, disappointment. All the fans of this show said that the first half was an introduction to the second part which would be wonderful and captivating. Honestly, I found both lacking and soft and therefore the whole series. Many clichés, few real twists, a very confused narrative and a very poor artistic component. I don't understand the success it has had, also taking into account my passion for the issues related to this series.

Rare Exports (2010)
Pure waste of time
8 October 2022
This movie is nothing. Or better, is less than nothing. Doesnt have genre: not horror not thriller not family movie. Pure boredom. The plot begins and ends but not remain a single good thing for this flick. Extremely poor development of the characthers, screenplay whitout any originality, the rythm is pure boredom, the story is annoying. Could be a very interesting idea satirize the santification of Christmas and all the tradition around it with an horror, but it should be a decent one. An original idea used in the wrong way. When you watch a movie and you hope it finish as soon as possible, you know it's very bad.

Insufferable Intolerance All at Once
28 June 2022
A lousy movie. The underlying themes are the best there are but are used in a way that is nothing short of shameful. Two and a half hours of pure dementia, arrogance and useless effects without any substance. I wonder how this film can be considered as the best of the first half of 2022. A waste of time, health, expectations and enthusiasm. Garbage.

Much ado about nothing
31 December 2021
It's a sequel but also a reboot. It is a self-celebration but also a self-parody. It has good ideas but also a lot of patheticity. It has style but also demeaning banality. All in all it is also decent but it is useless. More than a movie it could be bonus material of the box set. But also the surprise of snacks. A film that will be forgotten as that ghost no one has ever heard of, of that uninhabited street, of that inaccessible neighborhood, of that world that never existed.

Don't Look Up (2021)
Obscene
27 December 2021
A humor that would have dishonored even stupid movies with cast like Ben stiller, Adam Sandler and other actors prone to idiotic roles. An unimaginable waste of talent. A script so flat that not even a recipe for salad. Unacceptable. In an honest world, with a worthy and refined aesthetic canon, there would already be a petition to have this film censored. A huge indecency.

Dune (2021)
Pure garbage
9 November 2021
I've never read the book so I can't compare. Lynch's transposition was poor, this one is totally obsolete. A useful film like dehydrating and dehydrated water. Unacceptable that it is considered a great film when it is not even mediocre.

Arrival (II) (2016)
Nice filmmaking but read the book
28 October 2021
Great choice for casting, scenography and original score but the short story is way better and deeper. The movie ends to result too boring and lacks of the philosophy that concerns the original work.
