All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)

Did not watch the first one(1930s), great movie, war is meaningless, but defending does mean something.

Especially during this time of the year , there is still a war , Ukraine -Russia war. I read a little bit about the history of WW 1 , it seems like both two parties are waiting for this big war for a long time, as the general said in the movie, if there is more war, why do we need soldier. Young men are joining in the army and they believe they are defending the country and emperor. The war is meaningless, not defining means something.

The only value of keeping military forces is for defending, not attacking, there will be new war and conflicts in this world in the future, I am expecting to watch more movies like this one.

good attempt, good reslult

An attempt by a young director to describe the love and life of a group of middle-class people in Shanghai, China. The rhythm of the story is slow and delicate, no lack of humor and wisdom, maybe it has something to do with my current mood, I enjoyed it very much.
