The Ice Road (2021)
Left Me Cold
I understand an actor has to make a living but when you see two that you have enjoyed being in below par chit like this it is depressing.
For a better look at what I am guessing this tried to be take a look at The Wages of Fear or the sort of remake Sorcerer.
Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing (2018)
Totally hooked.
What I love about this show is you feel these two comedic stars are real buddies. They play off each other with great timing but also have a goal with a fish to catch. Whoever worked out the format deserves a pat on the back.
If you want to escape the stresses of day to day life then kickback and watch these two chaps doing what most men of a certain age would love to do.
Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018)
I managed to escape.
I very much enjoyed the original movie and so was looking forward to seeing this. I watch about 30 minutes before I just stopped. Plot jumps all over the place and there is zero flow to the movie. You have no interest in the characters and the whole feel is just hollow and pointless.
Do yourself a favor and spend the 30 minutes I wasted doing something else.
Shot Caller (2017)
Average seen it before prison flick.
While this film is very watchable, I would not call it "Best Film of 2017 So Far". I think a lot of GoT fans have ponied up to support their man performing in a pretty average movie.
If you enjoy prison based movies then there isn't really anything new here and some of the acting is really bad. Joe Bernthal as Frank was just dire and thankfully we didn't see to much of him.
For me the movie simply did not flow as well as it could have. If you do like this type of movie though give Tom Selleck's "An Innocent Man" a watch and see how a good idea can be better executed.
