I just watched the first two episodes and I am already hooked. Imagine waking up one day and the world as you know it has changed.

Beautifully constructed. There is a mixture of suspense, drama, and thrill. It's the type of confusing that builds curiosity rather than making you feel completely lost.

I like the question the show asks... could one choice really make your life so very different? If you ever had a thought like that, you'll enjoy this. I think that's why I connected to the story so much.

This show is one of the best sci-fi shows out there right now. I can't wait to see where it goes.

Shōgun (2024–2026)

It's just amazing from start to finish.

I can already tell this show is amazing. Feudal Japan was one of the most violent times in Japan's history and the series emphasizes that fact throughout.

The complex Japanese politics and psychology is the centerpiece. It shows a consistent inability to trust strangers yet they are at the greatest danger from the strangers they accepted.

I really like how this show is rich with good acting, writing, directing, cinematography, and story. There is so much attention to detail.

If you like the political dramas with a brutality on another level this show is for you. It's just amazing from start to finish.

BattleBit Remastered (2023 Video Game)

It's probably one of the best casual multiplayer fps games I've played in a very long time.

Shame that a small company can create such a solid game better than a billion dollar company like EA.

Battlefield, as we all know has been a dumpster fire for the past few entries, and Battlebit Remastered is a really good replacement. The game rewards you for team play, each class is unique and useful.

If you enjoy a shooter that provides solid gameplay mechanics, balanced and rewarding experience, with loads of options then its definitely the game to play. It's probably one of the best casual multiplayer fps games I've played in a very long time.

For those that care about graphics over the quality of gameplay then it's not for you.

Gen V (2023– )

Gen V is what a spin off should be....

Gen V is what a spin off should be. I initially had my doubts. I wasn't expecting an incredible, mind-boggling, award winning show but more like a good, entertaining serial, and it delivers on that.

Has it's own personality without deviating too much from the original source. They really nailed their pacing, their characters had depth and the world was built quickly.

And it's not just dumb fun, it talks about a lot of societal issues in interesting ways and it feels like a breath of fresh air in the genre of teen drama. Definitely give it a watch.

I cannot wait for season 4 of the boys and season 2 of gen v.

They Cloned Tyrone (2023)

Definitely worth watching

They Cloned Tyrone is one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. They filled up those two hours with so much fun, comedy, drama, suspense and action! This movie Felt like a great mashup of Black Dynamite and Us.

I thought the cinematography was on point, it wasnt the typical normal settings on a camera. It looks like they put some thought to it being that it was like a sci fi horror flick, I think that the grainy hazy dark filters capture that mood.

The social commentary was hilarious and tragic at the same time, but never felt ham-fisted or overbearing. Exposed some real life issues.

I think this film was executed well and the plot never felt force. Definitely worth watching.

The Wandering Earth II (2023)

I absolutely loved The Wandering Earth 2! Chinese sci-fi films have really improved so much in the last few years. Much better than Hollywood ones.

It was interesting to see how a huge crisis brought humanity together and forced us to act as one.

This second movie started off slow and appears to be incoherent, but it all comes together in the 3rd act of the movie and it is a worthy prequal and ties up superbly to the first movie.

This is not your typical space battle laser guns sci-fi movie. This has a far more intelligent storyline that makes you think how future human civilization and its technology can turn out be and what humanity as a whole is capable of doing in order to survive.

It provided great concepts as what space colonization and AIs can do. It's a disaster movie on an epic grand scale like we haven't seen before. This is why we need more movies like this in the future

Highly recommended, and must watch in a big screen.

Beef (2023– )

Once started I couldn't stop watching until the end!

Once started I couldn't stop watching until the end, it was so good. The writing is phenomental and the acting is fantastic!

This series started out being one thing and ended up taking you on a journey of dark comedy, drama, violence, intergenerational trauma, wealth-gap inequities, importance of mental health, and finally existential crisis!

The characters are so irredemable at times and it seems hard to keep rooting for them. But you can't help appreciate how real and raw they are written.

They aren't going to do the right thing, or react the way you would hope they would, because humans are unpredicatable and we dont always do the right thing like how most movies would portray.

1899 (2022)

Just remember one thing, don't let the slow start fool you.

I really thought 1899 was going to be just some regular period drama like a titanic, finishing with the typical ending, but was something completely different!

Just remember one thing, don't let the slow start fool you. With every episode, more details are added to put together the puzzle and you're left asking yourself questions and rooting for your favorite characters find out the answers as quick as possible!

They spends a lot of time exposing the backstory of the major characters. At first one thinks there is no connection, but through their "dreams" or is it their "reality", we began to see how each share a connection which brought them together on this voyage.

The cinematography and direction have been on point. The music in first few episodes where amazing, so appropriate to dark atmosphere, fear and curiosity.

I was mostly amazed by the diversity of the cast. The multicultural aspect led to a more authentic representation of life aboard an immigrant ship at the turn of the last century.

I hope to see a season 2 because the cast, producers and directors have really outdone yourselves.

Raging Fire (2021)

Raging Fire is amazing from start to finish!

Raging Fire is amazing from start to finish! The film's story is not necessarily original, but was very clear and light. Conflict of morals, drama, action, fighting scenes.

The editing was choppy in parts but those are small negatives! Overall this is a classic!

Donnie Yen convinces as righteous cop who never seeks for the easy but rather the right way out of trouble.

But Nicolas Tse as a villian was awesome. His backstory was well written and it shows the motives behind his actions. I even have a sympathy feeling for what was happened to him and his team. Honestly it felt good to see a HK action film like this.

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

Top Gun Maverick is easily one of the best movies that I've ever seen.

I thought making a sequel to Top Gun wasn't a great idea until I saw this. Top Gun Maverick is easily one of the best movies that I've ever seen.

First of all, this movie doesn't make jokes at the expense of it's predecessor, pays tribute to the original in all ways it can , manages to keep the spirit of the original alive and yet surpass all expectations.

It is well written, good acting by all the supporting actors, great background score, beautiful action sequences, great direction and the movie teaches valuable lessons about life.

This will be one of the few movies I watch for a second time.

Andor (2022– )

This is the most interesting thing that's happened to star wars in a very long time.

I really thought it was going to be mediocre. But it was amazing. I love the style, the directing, the music, the world building and character development. Andor definitely feels more mature, dark and gritty. It's a different take on star wars that I didn't know I wanted.

It's great to see regular people and how the empire effected them. It goes to show that when politicians talk about making things better, the working person gets left behind.

It's not perfect, but this is the most interesting thing that's happened to star wars in a very long time. I can't wait to see how the story develops.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022– )

I love it!

I've seen the first two episodes and I love it. It appears to be very promising.

I haven't read all the books and lore so I cannot speak from a purists perspective but it was enjoyable at the very least. They deviated from lore, yes. I'm all for it. I'd rather have some surprises.

Story wise it is perfectly paced and there is a good balance between world building, character development, plot and action. The production design was beautiful. The cast did a great job, as well.

I cannot wait until more episodes of this come out.

If you are reading these reviews and are skeptical about the show, only you can make the choice whether you enjoy it or not. Just give a try.

Nope (2022)

I have never seen anything like it.

This film is one of the best I've ever seen. The setting, acting, cinematography, and the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful and it is mesmerizing.

Such a creative take on what could've been a typical alien flick. Was not only thrilling but emotional in its immaculate delivery of horror, tension, and mystery.

The beginning is a slow burn for character development but once it gets going it doesn't stop.

I would say that the majority of roles if not all are played to absolute perfection the highlight being Keke Palmer.

On a scale of ten I would give this movie a nine. I look forward to seeing more of Peele's work.

House of the Dragon (2022– )

I am blown away.

When HOTD was first announced, I had doubts as to whether it would be good. But after watching the first episode... I am blown away. From the acting to the set design.

If they maintains the quality and intrigue of episode one, HOTD could be better than GOT.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

Not gonna lie, this first episode was actually pretty good! Starting off with a simple and fun origin story having light level of humour and action in balance. A really welcome addition to the marvel roster.

Awaiting next episodes to see how story is built around this character.

Prey (I) (2022)

I watched the movie today and I have to say that I'm glad that was a good Predator movie after all these years and after so many disappointments.

The story is simple and straightforward... a tribe of comanche hunters who cross paths with the Predator in the early 1700s.

One of the first things I liked was the cinematography. I think this movie has the best cinematography out of the entire franchise.

This movie represented the predator so well, he is really ruthless and brutal. His code of conduct and how he manipulates his prey are all fascinating and are shown very well.

It's nice to see how Naru (Amber Midthunder) is skilled and intelligent, but still suffers minor defeats throughout the beginning of the story, but she never stops learning from them. She plays to her strengths to fight a stronger and technically superior opponent and believably so.

Beautifully done. I hope we get more movies of this quality in the future.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022– )

They finally listened to all the fan feedback!

Star Trek Strange New Worlds possessed of something the newer Star Treks (Discovery and Picard) don't offer. A good example of dialogue, action, plot, character development and chemistry. I really hope it stays true to its present form.

Invasion (2021–2024)

One of my favs!

I loved the slow pacing and the way the story is told. It's new and different. This series is focused on character development and individual stories. How people would behave if their world was turned upside down.

The invasion happens realistically, the aliens are hidden, almost invisible and when they briefly appear they are incomprehensible in our eyes. This show is painted towards an audience who enjoy suspense and mystery. One of my favs! I absolutely loved season 1.

The Expanse (2015–2022)

I don't think I've ever watched a sci-fi series with such depth.

I don't think I've ever watched a sci-fi series with such depth. The Expanse main storyline takes us through timeless subjects like resentment, prejudice, greed, anger and love.

Show how nobody is necessarily better than the other, everyone commit atrocities in the name of something they believe be a ''just cause.''

• The first season starts a little slowly, giving time to understand who the characters are, the factions, the current situation and the way things work in the midst of a political intrigue surrounded by secrets.

The universe itself shows up as a ''character'' and follows the same laws of physics seen in our universe. Thanks to that, the Spaceships are created based on these laws... like design, weapons, acceleration system, artificial gravity and lots more! That enhance the storytelling and creates several possibilities that I had never imagined. Please do watch it!

• The season two focuses more on a cold war between two superpowers (Earth and Mars), at the same time our main characters start to delve into that sordid secrets surrounding this conflict. These secrets prove to be something something never imagined, something beyond this world.

• In season three, characters from both sides of the conflict come together to prevent a full-scale war from spreading across the solar system. Unlike previous season's this one has lots of action, spaceships battles, suspense, thrills and even more politics.

But it does not stop there, the second half of the season an event in particular (The Ring) takes the story to a new path and has lot of effect on different characters lives. New habitable worlds have been discovered and this creates a new gold rush. This season is one of the best I've watched.

• Season four show us survival of people on a unknown planet, we also get more knowledge about the protomolecule and it's builders.

Humanity learned nothing from past conflicts. New habitable worlds were discovered giving the opportunity for a fresh start, but certain groups think they have ownership rights to things that don't belong to anyone. This makes the colonization process a disaster.

There is also a subplot in the solar system. Showed us how Mars fell into decay and corruption took all over. On the other hand on earth we have general elections in the midst of a crisis. This season was one of most satisfying I've seen.

• Season 5 is outstanding. Shows how the oppressed have become the oppressors and the breakdown of society on Earth. At the same time has taken a strong turn towards wrapping the personal stories of the main characters into the action. Enjoyed every episode.

Lost in Space (2018–2021)

Definitely recommend watching

Lost in Space was very fun, exciting, touching and sometimes hilarious. A smart script with plenty of character building. You really do feel you're sharing in the Robinsons' plight and solving problems beside them with light science. Definitely recommend watching.

Tekken 7 (2015 Video Game)

It's a pretty fun game!

It's a pretty fun game. The story was good and quick, I enjoyed from the beginning to the end. The climax of the mishima family arc was utterly epic.

While this game has great variety of characters, looks, and fighting styles... the lack of offline modes compared to previous entries it's a problem.

The gameplay is fun and nice but it is very hard to master.

If you want a game with small-good storyline with good fights and graphics... buy this game!

Hawkeye (2021)

Battlefield 2042 (2021 Video Game)

I'm a huge fan of BF franchise, and I preordered the Ultimate Edition right when it was available. But I didn't think I would regret it. So huge disappointment.

Something has shifted fundamentally in development, these games are completely under delivered on every time they release. The players are also partly to blame for the state of games. I don't know how many times I've seen people saying things like "of course the game is buggy and incomplete, it just released", or "in six months will be a good game".

Dice has been doing this type of large scale games for years and for some reason instead of getting better they're getting worse.

This game doesn't have a scoreboard, no server list for all out warfare, no persistent lobbies, less game modes in comparison past games, no meaningful customization, no enjoyable progression, you can't select what squad you will join, you can't diving while swimming, no "medic nearby" indicator when you are downed, no spectator mode, no single-player campaign, very few weapons (Just 22 in total), the UI is absolutely horrible (We don't have any UI customization from the previous games), no voip or global chat, this game has one of the worst gunplay in modern gaming (terrible weapon accuracy/hit box isn't consistent and the bloom system is so much worse than in any bf that came before/uncontrollable), very few maps (Big maps with way too much space between points of interest and with no cover. Turns the game into a running simulator), downgraded destruction over it's predecessors, the physics are non-existent, and performance in general is trash (It's so badly optimized that they couldn't even create a trailer without frame drops).

I could cite more things, but other people already have done it better than me.

This game is an insult to video games and to the BF franchise. We deserve better. Don't buy It! Dont waste your money.

Foundation (2021– )

It's on to a very promising start.

A wonderful retelling of the complex Foundation story. I like that the series pace is slow, lets you pay attention to details. Is visually gorgeous; ingenious and unexpected plotting; thoughtful and thought-provoking. It's on to a very promising start. I can't wait for season 2!!

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021)

Shang Chi was incredible. I rly liked the story behind the ten rings. Unlike some other movies that imo try too hard to be cool or emotional and end up taking themselves way too seriously, this movie feels very organic in everything it does.
