Absolutely fabulous!

I've seen Reloaded this Saturday and I think it's brilliant! Fantastic FX's, good storyline. Just takes you deeper and deeper in The Matrix to take you for an ultimate thrill in Revolutions. Can't wait to go and see it again.

Hmmm, that's it?

I was one of the happy few to catch the first 35mm screening of Oesters. With recent Dutch "blockbusters" like Costa! and Ik ook van jou, expectations are very high. Recent rumours that some explicit sex scenes were deleted gave it the extra attention it needed. Yes needed cause the movie of its own isn't all that. I can't tell u to much cause the story is so thin i might give away everything and we wouldn't want that would we. In short, boy meets girl, they hit it of, girl wants to end it, boy gets obsessed with girl and does some very stupid things.....that's it really. I didn't like it too much but if you want to see Katja naked it's the movie for u.

I saw it at a screening last week, and it surprised me. I really liked it, full of action, excitement and romance(although not to much romance that is). Not to original but hey original isn't automaticly very good. Good to see Matt Damon as action hero, something different than the evil but bit dorky Mr. Ripley.

Amélie (2001)

shiny, happy people......that's all Amelie wants

...Briliant, absolutely fabulous. When I first heard that I was going to see Amelie a was a bit sceptical. Yeah #1 in France so what? Aren't the French the most "patriotic" people in the world? No wonder a French film is #1! Then the movie started...and in a blink of an eye sceptism was long gone and i thought I was in a fairy tale. When you see the opening scenes it's obvious: this movie is not your ordinary, every day Hollywood production. Amelie sparkles throughout the whole movie. Living in her own magical world en trying desperate to get some magic in the real world to. Sometimes it works but every once in a while it goes not quit as she planned. This creates some really hilarious scenes. A pathetic stalking man hooks up whit a sick, insecure woman in the toilets and a garden gnome travelling around the world sending postcards everywhere he comes. I really enjoyed this film a lot and in the end every spectator is shiny and happy, just what Amelie wants...
