The Rookie: Escape Plan (2024)

The person said "you could clearly see the actress jumping from the car to the truck with a rope visibly tied to her back."
There was actually **NO ROPE**. It was an electricity line in the background, and not touching her.
The entire background, with the buildings, electricity lines, trees, etc were all from a SCREEN. They filmed that car stunt at the Disney Infinity stage.
It's an impressive visual and physical stunt that gives the illusion that the characters are really on the street without putting the actors in harms way. That scene was impressively done, in my opinion!
Family History Mysteries: Buried Past (2023)
Loved it
The two leads had great chemistry!!! I was so happy about that! I really hope they make a second movie! And even a third!
The only thing I didn't care for was making one of the brother's gay. They just snuck that in for no reason. Just to have it in.
I was also very impressed with the casting of the main family! The brothers really looked like brothers, and the dad really looked like he could be their dad!
And the story was compelling! And I loved the sets and props! Loved the "old phone"!
I would definitely watch this again! And I hope the next one is just as good! And I hope we get a good onscreen kiss! The kiss in this one was sweet too!
'Tis the Season to be Merry (2021)
LOVED IT
I loved the movie!!
The chemistry between Merry and Adam was spot on! (And the kisses between them did not disappoint!)
I enjoyed the friendship between Merry and Darlene, and the brother sister relationship between Darlene and Adam was very believable! This movie put good attention to detail and I noticed! From the looks the characters gave to each other, to their interactions, to the effortless and organic humor!
It just looses a star because I didn't care about the coupling of Joe and Sonia. Those parts were kinda boring.
Everything else was great! Hallmark, please pair Rachael and Travis again!
Taking the Reins (2021)
Loved it!
Nikki DeLoach and Scott Porter have AMAZING on-screen chemistry! Even the scenes where they "don't get along" at the beginning are good! Their chemistry is one of my favourite things about this movie! The other is the horses! I have LITERALLY watched this movie a dozen times now and will be buying it on dvd! I hope they have a sequel or star in another movie together! And the supporting cast also did a fantastic job! The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the mother looked a bit too young. IRL they are just 17 years apart.
You, Me & the Christmas Trees (2021)
I was bored
I like both actors individually but I found they had little romantic chemistry together. Much better chemistry as friends. I also found the storyline quite boring. I wouldn't watch it again. Sorry!
