Great film
5 December 2023
An excellent film and one of Liam Neesons best ever performances ; this is a throwback to classic films of the past , a film that 20 years ago would of starred Clint Eastwood ,there's even a clip from his film Hang em High ; great storytelling, performances and action throughout , highly recommended; there's even a reference from Taken , see if you notice it. The cast are uniformly excellent too ; never saw this on the cinema here in the UK, either got a limited release or was never released here , if you get the chance to see it , don't miss this underrated and little seen gem of a film asap.

Entertaining throwback
8 August 2023
I was pleasantly surprised watching this which is an attempt and throwback in spirit to films like Northwest Frontier and East of Sudan ; this film has a lower budget then those films but with the resources they have they do excellently, there's plenty of action , it's well acted and the scenery is great , if you like classic adventure films of this ilk from the past you should enjoy this ; well done all involved in the making of this film , the whole cast are very good , Eric Roberts plays a British Officer and he's the only actor I knew coming into the film but the leading actress who plays his niece is very good indeed.

Entertaining biopic
22 July 2022
Just watched this and enjoyed this biopic of prizefighter Jem Belcher ; not sure how historically accurate it actually is but was entertained throughout with the storyline and good fight sequences , well acted by all with as usual standout performances by Ray winstone and Russell Crowe and a good performance from the lead actor too , well worth seeing.

Excellent throwback to classic war movies of the past
2 May 2022
Saw this yesterday ; I knew this was a true story and a remake of" the man who never was "; thought the film very fine indeed ; better than I had expected ; excellently acted with the leads channelling actors of the past like Kenneth More and the like from classic british war movies ; a refreshing change from the usual ; only in a couple of instances did the film let itself down slightly I thought ; but I'm just nit picking ; good to see Ian fleming feature in this version too as an added interest ; James Bond fans should watch this.

Much better than expecting; a rare gem
26 September 2021
This film is atmospheric ; well acted and well filmed ; I wasnt expecting much from this film but it's far better than a lot of bigger budgeted horror films that are out at the moment ; it rattles a long at a good pace and is never boring ; if you're anyway interested in this sort of film dont miss ; you'll be pleasantly surprised ; good cast ; especially good to see Richard Roundtree.

Not great but not that good either
4 September 2021
I really wanted to like this film but found it too boring and unbelievable ; rewatch lewis Collins in "who dares wins!" for a fictional but entertaining sas based movie ; it knocks spots off this one.
