Kate (2021)
As a fan of female assassins films...
Kate was a superb quality film. My favorite parts is when you could see the Kates super soldier crack and true human instinct kick in. This all happens because of a teenager named Ani needs her help, and like every lost kitten Ani charms her way into Kates heart. This companion and motherly instinct stirs smoothing Kate, a special something that breaks her programing.
Hell Is Empty (2021)
Well made psycho horror
This movie throws the whole kitchen sink into the psychological aspects of the story. I will watch any movie that challenges the church system and this was a strong message to get out about the lunacy of break away religions/cults.
Antiviral (2012)
Good story-cinemtography digital and cold
Brandon Croneberg did his pops good. Created a sick twisted story that could be very real and happening while we speak. This film reminded me of his dads movie "Dead Ringer", Cold, slow and twisted. Worth the watch.
The Alchemist Cookbook (2016)
Pretentious
Whats up with all these new movies that try to make satanism seem quirky and cool? What happened to the old days when horror (this film isnt) used to expose the dark side not indoctrinate people into it.
Baskin (2015)
I couldn't finish it
I can handle gore, but this film felt like a curse was being placed on me by watching it. Baskin isn't a psychological horror gore feast as much as it was a spiritual battle (and I'm not a religious man). It burned a hole in my retina and then straight to my soul.
Possessor (2020)
Edge of the seat brillance
Like father like son, Bradon Cronenberg is taking his fathers legacy of mind mending stories mixed with challenging new visuals to a new level. I have to watch this again, and again.
Blood Quantum (2019)
keep an eye on Jeff Barnaby
In a world filled with zombie movies as a form of predictive programing, Blood Quantum gives answers on who they are and how to deal with them. A must watch for any zombie movie fan who watches this genre for tips on how to deal with them, you know just in-case it really happens. I'm a new fan of Jeff Barnaby for his harshly truthful and flixs. He is using the horror genre to expose some unspoken truths.
Daniel Isn't Real (2019)
Mulitple personailty disorder gone wrong
Daniel Isn't Real is proof that the big budget films lack solid screenwriting.
This movie was a real skull F, in a good way. I'm giving it a 10 to make up for the reviews made by people/bots who obviously didn't watch this well conceived film.
Girl Next (2021)
Indie film to watch
Not your average film about trafficking. Girl gets abducted, girl is put on mind control drugs. Girl hallucinates all sorts of madness, yet most of it is really happening. Girl tricks her abductors to fall in lust with her. Ending with her showing "Girl Next', who is an alter, a clone. Like a multiple personality on Darpa steroids. The other girl within her is a super soldier ready to pounce, and pounce she does. A very satisfying well made indie-flix.
Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery of America (2007)
Heavy Metal Vikings
This must be how Heavy Und Metal started. Surprised this isn't more popular with the metalheads and film students. Found this movie to be a meditation of odd sorts.
