Bluey (2018)
My favorite show.
I love Bluey, not only because I'm a huge Animation fan, but because it's relatable to both Australia and Family and they do it pretty good. I have seen all of Season 1 and Season 2 on Disney Junior and all the episodes were good!
My favorite episodes are Bumpy and the wise old Wolfhound, Burger Shop, Fancy Restaurant, Mount MomAndDad, and Daddy Robot.
My favorite quotes are Cheese and Crackers, Coconuts have oil in them... and a lot more I can't remember!
The animation is amazing, and captures the country of Australia in a, somewhat different way, using 2D animation to replicate it.
This is one of those shows I love, I mean, I love other shows, but this is on-core my favorite!
Spookley and the Christmas Kittens (2019)
This movie isn't bad.
It's okay, the animation is very good, better then the original, but it's music is a little, boring.
The poster is a good recap of what i've said, the story, is, well, alright, I think more of the cats would be cute.
Luca (2021)
I love this movie...
This movie is my favorite along with UglyDolls, let me tell you why. First, the animation in this movie is fantastic, I love the food in this movie, i'm a pasta person too so... :)
The story is unique, I like the story about sea monsters and accepting them, kinda like UglyDolls! I also like the ending when they win the race, and they eat the yummy pasta... What a yummy favorite!
Oh, and the characters! I like Luca and Alberto alot, and their sea monster colors!
Anyway, 9.6/10, same as UglyDolls!
UglyDolls (2019)
I love this film! (Warning: very detailed fan review.)
There is many spoilers and yes, many many facts!
As a 1 year fan of Uglydolls that started joining the Uglydolls fandom in February, I'm still in love with the film to this day, and I can remember the whole film from my brain even without looking at it or rewatching it.
Alright, here we go!
The film starts in a toy factory, showing how toys are made, that is cool because show kids never known how toys are made, and it works pretty well. Tray is a 3 ear purple bunny and Wedgehead is a yellow duck, discolored beak. We get to the logo and a peak at #12, that will be later in the film, still, pretty darn cool...
Now we first see Uglydog, the one eyed cat dog doll (pun forgot about it!) and Peggy the one eyed flying unicorn doll, waking up and saying hi... Then, we see our main character, Moxy, a pink, penguin/chipmunk like monster plush doll, singing in her bed about a child and the big world (song is Today's the day, song #3 in soundtrack and after that, Couldn't be better, song #4 in soundtrack.) (real world). Moxy is voiced Kelly Clarkson, Peggy by Ice-T and Uglydog by Pitbull, there goes the line of singers, but don't worry, there's actors too! We also meet wage, who is a orange bear like doll, and babo, who is a grey, unknown type doll. Wage is voiced by Wanda Sykes and Babo is voiced by Gabriel Iglesias, finally! Actors! Still, no matter what, the singing from both is pretty darn good. Especially Moxy, Wage and Ox, oh, Ox? He is a Green, semi-two eyed x eyed bunny doll, Voiced by Blake Shelton.
After that, we get one more song from the scene, and oh my gosh was that a shocker! The animation did change her feeling too! Now, the weirdest scene, the tea scene with Moxy and lucky bat. Lucky bat is a red and blue bat doll voiced by, for a shock, Wang Leehom who is Chinese, pretty darn shocking to see a Chinese singer in a American film, no insults though. Moxy's facial animation is well done and weird, how she moves her mouth and eyes is pretty darn nice for a curious woman.
Ok, Maybe it's time for a fact? The animation was done in Maya, according to credit research, all characters who are plush dolls are rigged by the lips using Zipper-lip, a plug-in by Reel Fx only used for this film, I think. That is impressive because first, making a auto rigging system is a pain to do, and second, it is well done!
Now, with the manipulation of Moxy forcing them to go, Moxy and her friends (excluding Ox) go into the tunnel to find the mystery of the tunnel, Creepy falling babies! Hahaha just joking.
We now are in the institute of Perfection, the ones mentioned below are Human perfect dolls, not unnormal dolls. (song is Today's the perfect toy, song #5 in the soundtrack)
We then get to the spy girls (Tuesday, voiced by Bebe Rexha, Kitty, voiced by Charli xcx, and Lydia, voiced by Lizzo, more singers please!) and Mandy, who is voiced by Janelle Monáe. Joking around about the Uglydolls, then, Nolan (by the fanbase) comes in and questions about Lou. Boom! There he comes! I hate you LOU!
Lou is voiced by Nick Jonas, and oh my gosh, I hate him, he is bullying all the Uglydolls while singing! (song is The ugly truth, song #6 in the soundtrack)
Now, there is way more in the film, but typing the whole film will take ages! But, let me get to the best part, Unbreakable (song #10 in the soundtrack)
Unbreakable is the best song in The Whole film, the scenery is unique and beautiful, with the color palette being spacey and neon. While the animation on the doll Moxy is close in my opinion to a Pixar film! Holy moly!
The ending ends with Moxy getting her child, Maizy, that makes me almost get me a tear! Sniff! Sniffff! Oh boy! Hug imperfection!
Moxy is the best character, she has a groundbreaking singing voice, well done animation, a extremely well built rig and model, and well, she's just good!
In fact, the animation itself is beautiful, colorful, smooth and vibrant! So, do I recommend this movie? Yes, no matter what people say about this movie (although I spoiled a bit, oh well.)
Final rating: 9.6/10.
