Ape vs. Monster (2021)
Lots of Palaver. Needs More Monster Action.
Very slow script. Good monsters but we don't see enough of them.
General Delaney has no rank insignia, and is wearing enlisted collar brass. Also he is wearing Viet Nam era ribbons which are displayed upside down. One ribbon appears to be a USMC Good Conduct medal ribbon, which would never be worn by an officer, let alone an Army officer. A military consultant would have only set them back about an hundred bucks.
Having said that, it's passable if you can wade through all the drama.
Waves (2020)
Waiting for Part 2
The acting in this movie is good, although it is a bit hard to follow the script. There is a second half to come on this, which should be showcased at the end of this film so that the viewers will know part 2 is coming, but is not.
The female lead is compelling and believable.
I suspect budget may be the reason that the whole movie has yet to be produced. I think it has potential and hope the second part is made to solve the riddles posed in the first half.
Moose (2015)
MOOSE: The Movie - A Home Run for Alaska
This Wasilla film is one of the most original funny movies you'll ever see. Whether you're from a small town in Alaska or any small town in North America, you'll recognize all of the characters in some form or another. The timing is great and the theme is a classic farce. If you don't like this movie, you don't have a sense of humor.

Itsy Bitsy (2019)
Great Spider Movie! I predict it will become a spider classic.
Great movie all around! Excellent writing, directing, acting and special effects!
It begins peacefully enough with a twinge of sadness for the mother, her children and her charge, an elderly man who is smart, but needs care. Very shortly in the film, the spider appears and is stealthy and scary. It is big enough to cause extreme anxiety, but not so big that it looks hokey. In other words, it looks real even though it has a mystical origin, and... It is more than capable of inflicting harm. There are enough suspenseful moments to keep you on the edge of your seat and never really lets up. Make sure to watch it until the end of the credits,
Denise Crosby gives a believable and likeable performance as the County Sheriff. She is strong and compassionate to the aggrieved family and acts as any good cop should do in a monster movie..
If you grew up with monster movies as I did, I think you will be glad to see this one. It is a scary treat, well worth the watching.
Space Master X-7 (1958)
Space Master X-7
I saw this movie only one time... in 1958, when I was seven years old.I still remember it to this day which is a good indicator of the impact that this movie left on me.
The image that stands out in my mind is that of the Blood Rust virus. I can still see it in my mind after nearly fifty years. I can still recall the pulse of urgency that ran throughout the movie. In all the years that have passed since I saw this film, I have only run into one person who even recalled it. I was beginning to think that I had imagined its existence.
After reading the review on IMDb, I can only assume that I saw it the same day that I saw "The Fly" in a theater on Solano Avenue in Berkeley, California. (In the 1950's, kids could see two movies and a bunch of cartoons on a Saturday afternoon for a quarter.)
If there is a copy of this movie available on DVD or VHS, I would surely love to purchase one.
