No Time to Die (2021)
Heartbreaking
Bond got "woke" and it fails miserably so they just killed him off. Or did they, there must be a way he left that island. The action scenes where nothing new and felt rushed and the relationship between Bond and the younger female had zero chemistry.
The Batman (2022)
Pattinson
Robert Pattinson is the greatest Batman I have ever seen. His ability to be silent and express so much emotion was incredible to watch. Paul Dano as the Riddler was another stand out performance.
Sicario (2015)
This is really good
Amazing story filled with little details that you can chew on later. Emily blunt wouldnt have been my first choice but i do appreciate her under playing her role. Benicio Del Torres was immensely cool as as the spook/cia agent (???) who is going after the cartel because they decapitated his wife and dipped his child and murdered his child. So he is pissed off.
Dune (2021)
visually beautiful-dialogue was weak
Visually beautiful-dialogue was weak. I never looked into the director Denis Villeneuve, I will now.
I will say that screenwriting isn't his thing.
I want to see this again.
Shirley (2020)
Not a true bio on Shirley Jackson
Artistic liberty on bad heroin. Only worth watching if you are an Elizabeth Moss fan. Had the popcorn ready, geared up to watch a "breathtaking" psycholical horror film that would scare me for weeks.
Instead I endured the worst screenplay with no rhyme or reason.
I wanted to like this so badly.
Ma vie en rose (1997)
This movie changed my life
We all have seen and been overly propagated that there there are more than two genders. As a transgender female I was shown this movie (and others like it) at a very young age. This movie gave me permission to be that inner girl. Schooling gave me permission to celebrate my chosen identity and created a slew of pronouns that i felt bullied into using.
After years of research I realized that the trans-agenda is being pushed on innocent ones like myself to create a species that can be controlled by new rules of faux happiness and glitter rainbows. Just look at how Tavistock institute is literally bullying young children in life altering surgeries and hormone blockers.
Ma vie en Rose gave me a look into my future self as a girl, but still a boy.
I covet these innocent years when acceptance was just beginning. I hope for a world that wouldn't indoctrinate children as they are now. Ma vie en Rose shows the simplicity of integrating girl/boys into society, unlike the strong arm tactics used now.
Inception (2010)
the mind is a meat-computer
Inception's dream technology is minimalist. It fits in a briefcase, can be operated by a 14-year old on a moving train and is connected to the subjects via a tiny IV plugged into the arm. It's obvious that the machine doesn't do anything except distribute drugs, and has no power, cooling or electronic components. This strongly suggests that the computational heavy lifting is done outside the machine-and inside the brains of the participants.
Girl Next (2021)
INTENSE STORY ABOUT QUANTUM TIMELINES
This as a statement about quantum timelines and a choice one individual, makes to hop out of a seedy timeline of human trafficking into a realm of becoming a powerful, well trained super soldier of sorts.
The drug addled, creator of clones for sale (perceptively played by Marcus Jean Pirae) uses the most advanced forms of psychophysiology and pharmacology I have seen on film since "A Clock Work Orange' and "Inception". Think Pavlov's dog, but for sexual conditioning. The subtle use of color cards to confirm the "patient" has completed the process of mind melding clearly illustrates the writer and director have researched this topic of extreme conditioned reflex.
When the beautiful protagonist is able to break away, using the actual conditioning to her advantage, by splitting through the photon barrier into quantum tunneling. She was then able to leave the timeline they created for her and entered into a new timeline of her choosing. That of a powerful lioness out for revenge.
Very impressive film.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001)
Quality acting from Mitchell
Born in East Germany as the Berlin Wall is being raised, Hansel is convinced to go under the knife by both his mother and his boyfriend so he can get married and move to the States. Hedwig is a story about a guy with a sex change operation gone horribly wrong. This is an odd punk rock based musical She tell her story all through song.
The Powerpuff Girls (1998)
Inspiration as a child- a way of life as an adult.
I was raised on power puff girls. As I grew older, I realized its all a metaphor for life. Powerpuff girls are us and the evil Mojo jojo's are the systems that rule over us.
