Sarah, Hip Hop, and Ballet
24 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Sarah Johnson had a lot of talent before her mother died but gained a lot more talent having to live in the Chicago ghetto (A lot of talented people come from the ghetto). Sarah gained the talent to dance hip-hop, even to use it in one of her audition dances for Julliard. Sarah was caught in a dilemma of choosing ballet or hip-hop and she finally felt in her heart that performing hip-hop was better than trying to be a famous ballerina. She had a new lover, new friends and a new life. There is no interracial problem but she does have a new black boyfriend (last one dropped he for his scholarship. The basic story is did she make a mistake going for Julliard.

X Prize Won now Burt needs to try a Orbital Flight
27 August 2006
Burt Ruttan was a genius to see the recovery needed no plane or parachute just folding the wing into a feather mode to slow the drag until a subsonic mode and unfolding the wing and a glide to land. Every else thought of heat he knew how to counter that. That's how he won the X prize.

Now that SpaceShip One is a sub-orbital ship with 1 man the need to create a cabin with a low weight material that weights less than steel for a stronger body and wings. Now they need to have better material for the windows they need to have a interior foil material to protect the civilians in space too. All Burt Rutan needs to get that in space by doubling the rockets power, adding computer for calculating GPS mapping and pressurization to make a orbital flight.

I loved how Burt Ruttan made some risks where more were more careful. They thought of the way we recovered past space missions and he took the way that the X-15 and Space Shuttle failed to forget a rocket plane.

NASA should take this idea as a safety recovery for the ISS Space Station and Shuttle in case needed

Jenna Elfman's character
20 August 2006
This movie's story is not what I am commenting about it is Jenna Elfman's development from being typecast after 'Dharma & Greg'. She really carries the story and shows her in a new light. I don't we will see her in another sitcom now. Now the story about a female nurse and her male patient falling in love. Now if there had been more substance to the story it would have been better. At the end I even think more should have been added to a possible future of Scott and Angela being together. Jenna's character was a miracle to Randall's character being a caring soul that stayed where his wife did not even try and wait. His son told him to let go and 'touch' the one that really loves him now.

Can Be Made Reality TV Show
16 March 2006
Many people say this is not a reality TV show which in true in some ways but do not see how we can make it one. First audition some non-professional dancers with some good hope out in the real world i. e. unknown talent such as actors that can only get bit parts. You can be entered by giving a small resume of community plays and such audition. If it works out you can be matched with a partner and get some more training with teacher and change the name to Dancing With The Unknown Stars. Something entertaining could come of it to make them big stars like on American Idol. I think they should give it a try and something could come of it. I think many people in the studios would agree to this. I have hated seeing people like Master P, Jerry Rice and George Hamilton. get voted for their popularity instead of how good they are. In the Australia version a TV weatherman with a small TV show won 2nd season who was more than just for his looks but how well he could dance. In Europe countries the only just vote on popularity but talent. They look at the talent because European people are not blind to popularity as we are. I have gone to a web page of the Netherland's show not really understanding what they say, but I see they are great dancers. The 4 former professional judges in Australia have never given a 40 (four 10's) and critic the dancers to tell them not just how good they are but what mistakes they made here in the USA they are just 3 critics and choreographers and gives perfect scores (3 of them 10's).

More than a TV movie but a possible TV series idea.
30 January 2006
Although it was slow at times it shed light of a TV series idea in the commentary on the DVD. There have been other series that was about a real person or a real thing, so a focus on the character so a focus of day to day life could work. I have come upon movies that have a potential TV series idea and now if they would stop calling this just a TV movie they have something worth it. I like a movie about a real possibility and this is it, watch it if you like science fiction or science fact. I know this is science fact some say no but a series like this could beat other shows so I hope this is going somewhere. Another thing my medical problems with my brain (epilepsy) years ago could have given me a better life if only something like this had happened to me.

One thing that many people say that several minds being listened to at once would be hard. In a crowd of people and all are talking and you want to hear one you focus on that voice. It's the same with the mind voice. I have talked to several of my doctors and they have commented that it is a real possibility.

Amateur Dancing was what got me, not just the story.
15 September 2004
Showing her help him win at the dance contest got their relationship started. We saw a girl named Katey pulled from her old life get changed into a woman that she wanted to be. Javier said dancing is like becoming exactly who you want to be. This movie was different than the other and I knew it by seeing trailers and catching tidbits of information. Other Dirty Dancers fans were calling this a sequel without listening like I did. I liked that Katey was played by a British girl that could hide her accent (the gal from UK I took did not here it).

This movie was created from a real story that the co-producer/ choreographer had.

'The Creator May Be Tough But He Ain't Blind'
5 July 2004
Warning: Spoilers
This is a story of how to clean your soul of sin. This is how the god has mercy on your soul. Some people believe in god and some don't. But this is a story called a western that is more than that. Whether they were dead the Lord gave them a life to cleanse them of their sin's because some criminals do have decent souls. The outlaws had a life but could not live there but tried and went straight to hell except one who protected a soul. God had mercy on his soul when he died and waited there for his new girlfriend to go to heaven with her. The rest went to heaven because they did the right thing. Disobeying the rules of Refuge for a good reason!

I believe this story is where you get a last chance to get it straight to go to Heaven or go to Hell !

Elton John OK, Story Bad
29 January 2004
The only thing that got me interested in this movie was the Elton John music. But the story just got boring like a soap opera. Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon were OK, but they just did not help the story at all.

One of the best non CGI films
23 January 2004
You get a lot out a film that does not use CGI in a action movie. When you use more realistic stuff it keeps you watching it. CGI is pretty good, but it can ruin a film like this. I can see CGI where most people don't in a real film like this.

I like this film for a heist that is for the gold, and not just to regain the gold. but for the payback. That makes a story like this more appealing. More people really do like a story like that than some simple heist film.

By the way when you say you are 'fine' it sometimes means 'freaked out, insecure, neurotic and emotional' and I have heard 'I trust everyone, I just don't trust the devil inside them'.

Too Involved With Itself
20 January 2004
For several years this show looked OK and worked pretty good as a series should be. But this series got to absorbed with itself. When the facts it used were to backfiring on itself then I did not like it as much, same as X-Files did. When a series tries to tie up the knots of it's small mistakes then it loses it's apeal. I hate shows like that. The 3 Law & Order series made some small mistakes but stayed streamlined and I like shows like that they can make you like other stuff. Keeping you liking the same stuff kind of blinds you from liking other things.

Security - Campus & Police
13 December 2003
This movie does show a lot for security both Campus & Police that shows that it has shown how Campus crimes were once hidden from Police and is getting to a point that more and more they can't hide it any more. Law is getting to a point where one of these days we can't hide crime like we used too. CourtTV has run it as some other channels have for the same reason. Too bad Melissa Joan Hart hasn't made anything off it or any many other movie's she's done.

No Regular Teen or Love Story
8 November 2003
This is a very fine story of a love story of someone falling for a sick person but does not know it. They learn it and still stay with them. Not a movie that you should call a teen love story but it could happen to anyone. So anyone should at least like or love the story. I am not some young person that likes it because of Mandy Moore. I am over 35 years old and a man that likes many types of movies and music. I keep watching it and find myself crying.

Made a pretty good story.
12 August 2003
All in all I did love the story for what it's worth. True there might have been a few other actress's that could taken Jennifer Love Hewitt's place but she was pretty good to me. For anyone who thought of who else would have made it I would say none, she was 'Co-Executive Producer' and that may be why she got the part. She was very good in the way she played it and that is why I gave it a vote of 8.

What We Should Do When We Go To Mars. Make Gravity !!!!
5 May 2003
This movie shows the true facts that when we go to Mars we should do what 2001: A Space Odyssey shows we need to create gravity how they did. Rotation drums can, In many space fantasy movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek and more I used to love I now hate. I love true science movies Apollo 13, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and others that show that real science facts as much as they can. These show the Drama I like. When we have sending man up in space for over a year it can hurt him bad when he gets back. If we send a person to Mars when they get there the gravity of Mars will be their downfall. As you understand science more and more you can see what I mean. This movie may not be in your favorite list, but I sure hope that NASA understands its meaning. If you are a true science fan not just a science fiction fan then you can really like it. I sure they make others similar to it dramatic but at least with no going to far into the future, no aliens, no fantasy gravity machines like in Star Trek and others. Then we will see the truth maybe then we may get more teachers, scientist, and more.

This is not your ordinary science fiction film.
9 April 2003
A world ending and going to a new world. This movie was made from a book. The first story Before Worlds Collide, the second After Worlds Collide. If they remade this story like it was and made the second like it was you could see a better story. I liked the movie but I liked the book better.

Historic event that gets made into a great movie!
27 March 2003
I see this as a movie that makes merit on itself for historic accuracy. If many people would only see the bonus section of the DVD they would see how it was done( weightless scenes, Astronauts help, NASA,s help, transcribed from actual sayings , and more) then they will see a great movie. This movie will be very loved in the history for years upon years where many movies won't make it. I will always love this movie that take a very historic event a makes a very good show. Why can't people see this as a great movie?

This is not a regular science fiction film.
24 March 2003
When I see this film I don't look at it as science fiction film, but a story that has a reality not fantasy. Most films like Star Wars, Star Trek, and others like them are not as good as this story. When I like science fiction I want a little reality and not so futuristic, such as 2001 A Space Odyssey, Apollo 13, Planet Of The Apes, and Red Planet. Aliens are OK such as Vulcans, but Klingons and others are not as good they cloud the story. Some people don't go with my idea's but some do. I take a lot of fantasy films in science fiction as junk and some are OK. Take that with you if like reality.

Science fiction but mostly fact with no bad fiction
4 March 2003
There were many facts and fiction in this movie but it wasn't as good as "2001: A Space Odyssey" but It did have a spark of good science. There were some factual flaws but many facts too and that's good enough for me.

All in all when they quit making futuristic films and start making films like these then we will get better science fiction that won't be have so much fantasy and loses the true dramatic effects that can help.

Digital filming In movies soon celular film will be gone.
3 March 2003
Although it failed there have been Cops and some other things filmed in digital then sooner or later celar film will disapear and digital filming will be the only thing needed. Although it didn't make an Oscar at least it made something of it. I liked it enough that I bought it. It wasn't true reality but it did show that would have ben better to go two frame instead four frame screen then it might have better.

"A vivir con miedo es como a vivir medias" "A life lived in fear is a life half-lived"
6 May 2002
There is a spanish dance that is a winner. It is called "Peso Doble". It is a winner of a dance in the end of the movie that got me to want to buy it. With it is a spanish proverb "A vivir con miedo es como a vivir medias" meaning "A life lived in fear is a life half-lived" and there Paul and Fran dance the "new steps". If you dance you will love it too.
