Excellent love story
29 March 2024
One of the best GL series I have seen to date either UK, European, or Global - and I have seen many of them although probably not all! The actors are excellent as is the script and the music. It's essentially about two women who fall in love and in the process conquer fears and misunderstandings. There are several other interesting characters and they add significantly to the story. The setting is the coast of beautiful Scotland with great shots of the sea and the seaside, a very British setting and feel (fish & chip takeaways!). I could have watched much more of this and was sad when it ended. There are 12 episodes (2 series) but each episode was quite short. Many congratulations to all involved in its making.

Excellent series, don't miss it
28 March 2024
I loved this and in fact I might watch it again. It was exceptionally well written, the actors were all good, and the story line was interesting. It's a nice blend of romance and humour all centered around a lesbian cafe in South Korea. Of all the GL series/movies I have seen so far coming out of Asia, and admittedly I probably haven't seen all of them, this is one of the best in terms of its decent story and intelligent scripting. The GAP is getting a lot of attention at the moment but I suspect that's because it introduced some seriously erotic scenes which clearly pleased viewers, but in reality some of the scripting and acting was poor at times. This series was made by a female director who clearly has heaps of talent so I hope she can make more like this in the future. I'm waiting!

Excellent film
6 October 2023
I really like this film for three main reasons. First it portrays love between an older grandmother and a younger paraplegic woman (hence the title T11) which is very unusual in films of this genre. Second the main protagonists, the two women, have problems of their own and these are explored as the film progresses. For example, the grandmother is a recovering alcoholic and has realtionship issues with her family as a consequence. Third it leaves quite a lot unsaid, even at the very end, and therefore allows you to come to your own conclusions rather than having them imposed by the writers. An excellent, thought provoking film. I wish there were more films of this quality and I congratulate all involved in its making.

Very Good Film

One of the best movies I have seen for a while. Recreating the sad life of Queen Anne you are transported back a few hundred years to watch power games at the royal palace, where people will do absolutely anything for wealth and status. I suppose nothing has changed since then. Don't miss it.
