The way this movie was filmed took you into the life of a schizophrenic. It was rather mind-blowing. I know several people who suffer from this disease and it was frightening to enter into that world.

This movie accurately portrays the struggles of men struggling with AIDs. A good friend of mine died from AIDs the year after this movie was released, this is exactly how he was treated. Breaks my heart. Thankfully we have at least moved away for this type of treatment of those struggling with this deadly disease.

Having worked in a predominately male field for nearly 30 years now, I can certainly relate to how they felt. I just love Octavia Spencer, she did an amazing job in this movie.

This documentary brought tears to my eyes several times. These two women broke all the rules, stayed true to their hearts, and lived the lives they wanted. That took COURAGE! What a beautiful story.
