Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022)
Take a bow Maddy to dedicate yourself to create this masterpiece
This is the kind of movies I want to see. It makes you feel life is real, life is full of surprises, life is full of struggles, life is full of patience and you need to give it back to life to emerge as a champion.
If you notice the climax, Madhavan has given the complete credit to Rocketry team and he even put the original Sri Nambi Naranyan Ji, which is very rare. I have recently seen "Shabash Mithu", where original Mithaji raj was not even there in a solo picture - whole credit was given to Tapasi Panu. This is where Madhavan makes a huge difference. Take a bow, Sir!
The Terminal List (2022)
Action Packed Thriller with a Father-Daughter Duo Emotions
Amazing masterpiece I have witnessed for a while. This is plain, simple, yet impressive and leaves its footprint. The family's emotions which was kept showing every now and then (however in a very planned and effective way), shows, it's well scripted, perfectly acted and on top of everything, brilliantly directed.
Apart from the action scenes, which are pure of a skill, the relation between Commander Reece and his family will never get you distracted from their emotions - it shows when someone's family is taken away, that person is a living dead body. This "The Terminal List" is a strong story of we can't leave without our family, and if someone tries to touch/attack them, they will be in our list and this list will be completed for sure and those responsible, will be tucked down into the soil.
Attack (2022)
New Concept but improvement needed
This is certainly an engaging movie without any second thought. The camera scenes, the action scenes, casing of John (appreciated), the chemistry between John and the Sri Lankan Beauty etc. However, I found John has given his attention more towards the action scenes and he has certainly not focused on his acting. In many scenes, you can clearly find where he could have acted way better than what he did.
Director also did a good job, but while building the background before a solid action or romantic or dramatic scenes, he surely missed the groundwork. He looked like being in hurry, which is not a good sign.
However, as a verdict, this is certainly a welcome fully masala movie towards a new concept, may be Indian cinema hasn't done a lot. Hope more movies come on the ground on the similar lines.
Padmaavat (2018)
It's good that makers of this film is beaten
They have used the name as "Padmavat", but if you see the entire film, most of the film is glorifying the character of the inhuman invader Alaudin Khilji. They have hardly shown anything in detail for Rani Padvamati or her husband - played nicely by Shahid Kapoor.
If I meet the makers of this film, I will beat them too without any second though.
A Thursday (2022)
A Daring Step For The Society And Nation By the Entire Film Crew. We Need More Like This!
Brilliant Acting from Yami Gautam, followed by Atul Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia (The Legend). It's a bold step to let the society, nation and law-makers know not to just see and forget, but it's time to take it seriously. Capital Punishment is a big question, the delayed justice or no justice is something we need to reform with immediate effect and especially the juvenile thing has to end immediately.
Wazir (2016)
Whenever I see this, it always impresses me.
I liked this movie and every time I watch this, it never fails to impress me. Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari are great in their performance and what a natural acting they did. Great chemistry. If you're a father, you will feel their untold emotions.
On top of it, great role played by Big B too. Overall, a great movie that keeps you entertained throughout the show and when it ends, you can't stop yourself clapping for all its characters, direction, and overall performance of the cast and people in background who made this move.
Kudos!!!
Jai Bhim (2021)
Simply mind-blowing movie
I saw this in Hindi dubbed movie, but still it was powerful enough for me to write the review right after completing the movie at 4:40 AM IST. After a long time I watched something which impressed it. The storyline, the impeccable acting of Suriya, the way atrocity was shown of police and the innocent tribal are simply worth praising.
Can't say anything more. We need more movies, which leaves an impact in our heart forever. Doesn't matter if you under Tamil or not, if you want to watch serious movies without masala, close your eyes and go for this movie without any doubt. You will love it. My guarantee.
Shershaah (2021)
Watch it
Couldn't have asked for more. I was waiting for this. Just watch it.
Tom and Jerry (2021)
Simply love it
I simply loved it. Good animation (sometimes it looks fake/graphical) and not as real as like The Jungle Book, perfect casting, music, acting and other stuffs to make this awesome movie.
I just lived the life of enjoyment watching the real Tom and Jerry show....
Thank you for making this movie!
Toofaan (2021)
It's a good one. Keep religion away from it
I don't know why people are bringing religion, community and all such non-sense here. I found it good acting from Farhan, Mrunal and Paresh Rawal. Farhan has worked hard for it and it sees in the movie, which I think should be appreciated and appraised.
Theme is not new, but there is nothing to complain too. If you keep religion, community, love-jihad and all such non-sense away, you will find it worth appraising.
Maharani (2021)
Must watch political drama and thriller
Huma Querishi killed it with her performance. I liked the most her last dialogue in the jail in front of her husband. I just want to say I feel Ra. 999 for one year subscription is a "full paisa wasool" with Maharani. Jai Ho Maharani Ji Ki...
