Void of content

What a waste of 85 minutes of my life watching this. I kept thinking something may happen but no, it just slowly ambled along until everyone including the audience died of boredom.

The scenery was lovely, the only thing worth watching in my humble opinion, and the only thing that stopped it being a 1. Giving it another name so you couldn't find it easily on IMDB was a masterstroke, otherwise, those that hadnt already lost the will to live and wanted to review, would have certainly lost it before finding this pile of old guff, to review it. Don't waste your time, I wish I hadn't.

On the plus side, I did manage to get my mails filed and painted.

Basically a soft porn with little story

Warning: Spoilers
Surprisingly well acted and good quality film and sound. The start had a pretty good twist so I kept watching but only made it through the rest of the film with judicious use of the forward button.

**Spoiler alert ** The only bit that fell in with the "comedy" tag that this comedy horror was listed as, was the lack of lube on the boss guy's unexpected encounter with a dildo.

The "big brother" style camera/ monitor work (anyone in the UK remember dead set? It wasn't anywhere near as good as dead set) was definitely one of the best parts of this poor waste of an hour and a half - although you can zip through it in 20 minutes if you speed through.

Having watched all of them
18 January 2023
Really like Lynda LaPlante's writing, I find Amanda Burton really easy to watch so thought this would be great right?

Some were excellent and engaging, I couldn't stop watching but...

Come on who as a senior police officer jumps in the sack with some psychopathic ex con who she herself put away 12 years ago? Any copper I have ever met is generally a great judge of character and recognises a nutter (see what I did there). Yet apparently she thinks it's fine.

That aside, the acting was all pretty good, a few bits staged slowly for effect which made them feel clunky but overall an easy watch, especially when each of the paired episodes could be watched stand alone easily enough (my stupid streaming app started me in series three and it didn't feel awful going back to one once I spotted it.

Another "life is too short"
9 January 2023
But in this case, it's too short and I regret wasting two hours of my life. The acting was admittedly pretty ok and I loved the soundtrack. The plan and content was never going to be action heavy ove particularly cheerful but I believe glaciers are more interesting and move a heck of a lot faster.

I'm sure the 10/10 guys must have loved it but I found it terribly boring. I downloaded it in a panic when I was going somewhere that I wasn't sure of the capacity to stream so I stuck with it.

Those actors have all done some great stuff and I can't help but feel this isn't adding anything positive to their CVs

Do yourself a favour and scroll on.

Plenty to watch
3 September 2022
I really liked all of these, from the first to the last, well acted and the filming where it seemingly rolled the characters rather than being very set, added to the energy. Overall, a really good set of episode with plenty going on to keep the interest.

Blah blah for 600 characters to suit IMDb's new review minimum.............................."............................................................................................"".............................................................................

The only unexpected part to this
25 August 2022
Was the sheer amount of boobs and bums on show. So much (not very good) CGI gore.

Tbh, I didn't expect much, and this delivered it in spades. I expect Kelly Brook cringes whenever any9ne mentions this movie.

Unexpectedly brilliant
20 August 2022
And what a soundtrack. Cracking and definitely lifted the film. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much but really pleased I gave it a go it was great. The only thing that stopped it from being a ten for me was some slightly dodgy animation with the dogs.

I almost didn't watch this
19 August 2022
But so glad I did. It was very terminatory (not unexpected really) and I really enjoyed it. How can Linda Hamilton be in such good shape? The special effects were not as believable as they could be, but aside from that, it ticked along and was easy to watch.

Great drama

Intriguing and complex this kept me interested and gagging for the next episode. Concentration needed but so worthwhile to watch. Great acting and super plot.

Well that was a surprise (not)

Entirely predictable but easy to watch. Acting a bit wooden but didn't require too much concentration. There are many other things you could find to while away the time.

Great story
30 July 2022
Well, not great in as much as it was based on true events that made you want to throw the guy into a bear pit but I digress.

The portrayal itself was done pretty well and ticked along with enough happening to keep the interest.

What the heck was that?
29 July 2022
Zero plot, zero talent in the acting which was so wooden, the only thing that could improve it is a circular saw, a hammer and some nails. It's only a 1 as there isn't a zero option. Save yourself 90 minutes of your life. I watched it on fast forward and it was still glacially slow with no real ending.

I watched the film version
25 July 2022
It as ok, mildly entertaining , didn't need to much thinking about and was easy to follow. Ok so it wasn't the most complicated story but it ticked along. I bet it was painful as a series.

There is no zero option
24 July 2022
I went in with my eyes open, knowing it would be bad because I have seen one or two of the others. I was unprepared for quite how bad it could be. Wooden acting, duff special effects, poor story, but I hung on in there, thinking it would get to bearable. Then, Katie Price appeared and I realised it was time to turn off. There is nothing in the world that has less talent than her, she simply has no redeeming features.

I have grass that I need to watch growing. You might find this bearable to watch after 2 or 3 bottles of wine.

Predictable but fun
21 July 2022
A really good laugh, well executed and easy to watch. I am not a fan of romcom at the best of times but I really liked this one. A great way to idle some time without needing too much concentration.

Totally what it said on the tin
7 July 2022
If you don't want an easy to watch romcom with a predictable ending, go elsewhere. A well presented and cheerful way to while away some time.

As an aside, I didn't know Ali Wong was a comedian. "That looks and sounds a bit like Ali Wong". That'll be why... Fun film.

Mr Bean under a different guise

So predictable, but funny. Rowan Atkinson is what Wylie Coyote would be if he were human. Easy to watch and really short episodes which made for better attention.

The too and fro between venues lifted it, slightly predictable and generic, it will be fairly easy to forget, but that said, it was Pretty well acted and easy to watch.

Gun safety
10 June 2022
Holy hell, who on earth was in charge of safety? Standing in front of a loaded shotgun, carrying around unbroken shotgun, sweeping around your pals with a closed gun. FFS it's no way to portray gun handling. Aaaaanyway, aside from that, it took a few eopisodes to work out who was who, and too much to and fro to follow easily.

Probably could have been done more effectively in half the time.

Not sure if I should admit

Quite how funny 8 found this. Yes there were some uncomfortable parts and sad messages but overall it was a real laugh. The cat had all the best lines and illustrates just how evil the little monsters are. People are slaves.

I like quirky but...
3 June 2022
What the actual flip was this? Random in places, in theory the story was quite cool but it just had weirdness thrown in for effect. Matt Lucas playing Matt Lucas at his best. Normally I love him and he did carry this further than it would have managed without him.

Well portrayed

I am not a fan of true crime normally, but when it's done this well, it's really interesting. The dramatisation was good and well acted, giving a good insight into how early problems start in gangs and suchlike.

Average but watchable
26 May 2022
Some dubious parts, for example the chase part, how did the gardening guy know where everyone was heading to appear 'just in time'?

One unrelated thing, why would you ever have a fabric coat and a random leather belt on the outside, it just didn't go together but I digress, the story wasn't overly believable at times but if you lost a child, I suppose a person would be desperate to find them and get closure.

One of the best things in ages
24 May 2022
The episodes were full of action and content, no fillers.

Great storyline, great acting, not a weak moment in the whole thing. Really enjoyed it and the excellent twists were, well, excellent.

Bravo Netflix, bravo.
