Talk to Me (2022)
Horror?
So, I've must've missed the "brutal, gory, shocking, scary" parts. Really, where are those parts?
Take away a little blood here and there and this could've been a Disney Halloween movie, at least back in the 90s.
What am I missing? This flick I rated 16 over here. Seriously.
There's only one scene which is nice and it's with the little boy.. after that everything is boring, not scary at all. It's a good concept but the movie is just boring.
Random words, because there's nothing more to say. Random words, because there's nothing more to say. Random words, because there's nothing more to say.
Spider-Man (1994)
It will never getter better than this
Seriously. All movies, comics, spectacular spidey and whatnot, miles boring morales.... aren't as good as this show.
It's the best there was, is and probably ever will be in terms of Spider-Man.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023)
Ah, those critics
I think it's pretty obvious why critics don't like this one:
1. It's an action movie
Critics never like those, at least for the last 10 years or so.
2. No "Message" or social comment
That's pretty self-explanatory. It just wants to entertain, you know, like movies should be.
3. Dirty jokes
Even from a female character. How dare them 😂
It's a perfectly fine mid-budget actioner and I enjoyed it more than I should, probably because it's so rare these days to be just entertained. A runtime not above 2 hours definetly helped.
Imho 90 minutes are the perfect runtime for every movie, like in the 80s and 90s.
That said, it has flawes, but I don't care.
Hereditary (2018)
Have the criterias of "horror" changed and I missed it?
Seriously the last, let's say, 15 years almost everything I watched labeled "horror" wasn't horror at all. Thrillers, Dramas, nonsense, suspense all of those, but not horror.
I mean even gore, splatter or slasher movies aren't what they used to be. Except japanese gore movies, those still deliver in said genre.
Someone said midsommar and US are overrated and bad as this one, and they're right. Because it's just not horror, I'm not talking about cheap jump scares (well, they're entertaining sometimes).
As a drama or suspense movie I would rate it around 6-7 but as a horror movie? Nah. Meh.
I also realized how easily impressed or disgusted many people on imdb are. Even really mediocre movies and shows are getting 10 thrown on it.
I only give a 10 to something I watched at least 6 times, no matter the genre or how critics or audience think it is. You now, re-watch quality.
Dead Ringers (2023)
Boring
It's boring, the story is boring, the twist is boring (and predictable). I don't have any issues with "body horror" (seriously?) 😂 nor language nor I'm offended by anything (probably because I'm not american).
It offers nothing compared to the Film. It's actually worse, but many people pointed it out.
And anyone of the "Weisz plays twins so distinguish" should watch Orphan Black.
Pseudo intellectual dialogues, mental mumbo jumbo... That's it.
Don't get me wrong, I love Rachel Weisz, I do, but I can't relate to anyone rating this higher than a 6.
People are easily impresses these days. Weird.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023)
Should've known
On a really early synopsis it was something like: based on the 80s cartoon show (if you've never seen it - watch it right now!). And I was hyped asf.
Later the cast was announced and I was thinking: huh, how's that supposed to work?!
Later again the synopsis was totally different.
Well, that said, I'm disappointed. I expected something totally different, at least the first time I heard about it.
It's a mediocre, modern lingo/issues, fantasy movie which could be titled literally everything.
If I hadn't that misleading expectations because of a wrong promo text, I probably would give it 6 or even 7.
Dune (2021)
Sorry
The 1984 version and the series, both were better. That's just it. I'm not a cgi fetishist so I don't care about "how good" somethings looking.
I don't need one hundred and fifty characters.
Invasion (2021)
Replie
"So bored of people crying about things being woke
Yes it may be annoying that everything these days has to be PC but that is the world we live in now lol get used to it or you will never watch any TV show or films again"
Yeah? I could gladly (re-) watch shows and movies from the 70s - early 2000s for the next 40 years and still not running out of material, I wouldn't even miss that much.
La Brea (2021)
Not hooked either...
But people whining about cgi is ridiculous. As if good cgi would make a good show or movie. That's the same bunch of people with their favorite line: "didn't age well", pathetic.
Naked and Afraid (2013)
Maybe because I'm European
But what's the point of a show with "Naked" in the title, showing "naked" people and EVERYTHING'S blurred 🤣😂 I know there other US Shows exactly like that, naked realtor or something. Just put them bikinis and stuff on it would be exactly the same. Less distracting than those blurrs.
Guess what: many European countries and around the world have shows like this also... But not blurred, because that makes litteraly no sense. And no it's not instantly about sex, they are just nude.
Movies and shows with bare boobs are released for 12-16 year old people, 18 if there are dicks and vaginas, but in FREE TV(!) as long the schlong isn't errected or close up spread vag.
Why are you so damn afraid of nudity? Why do you sexualize nudity almost instantly? That's really really weird, I'll never get used to that.
Scream (2015)
Maybe it's just me...
But season 3 felt actually more like scream than the first 2 teeny drama seasons.
The Twilight Zone (2019)
The worst incarnation
The 60s original, the 80s one even the 2000s twilight zone were A LOT better than this woke twilight zone.
Even without wokeness it would still be incredible boring.
New Girl (2011)
Zooey/Jess is annoying
The show would've been so much better without her.
Cruel Summer (2021)
I'm dropping it after 8 episodes.
Because I've been forcing myself through every single episode and I'm not interested in any of the characters at all. Should've done that sooner.
Big Shot (2021)
Yep. Woke.
20 mins in, old white men, shaming, feelings bla bla bla meh.
