Gotham: Pilot (2014)
Season 1, Episode 1

A Good Start
26 September 2014
To be honest I want to give 7.5 Pilot was good enough to make audience to look forward to this new series. It doesn't try too much to impress audience which is nice. Good to see that this show is not cheesy or kiddish. Its somewhere between being serious and entertainment which is best for the Batman's story. Acting is done well by all the actors. Dialogues are good too. The show borrows some element from Nolan's Batman Begins to a certain level, which is a good thing. Hope DC continues their good work on Television and create more shows. By the way, All characters are introduced well to begin a good show. Can't wait for some new episodes.

I have a mix feeling about this.

Today I watched STID. I am not a Trekkie but I am fan of Star Trek for a long time. I have watched original Star Trek movies. Wrath of Khan is my favorite from the series. I loved Star Trek(2009) and I respect Mr.J.J. Abrams works. Even a week ago I re-watched Star Trek before watching the new one.

Now about this movie. STID is a good movie, no doubt. Story balances James, Spock and Khan very equally. Scotty plays a vital role and others characters like Uhura, Bones, Sulu, Chekov gets limited screen time. Adding Alice Eve as Dr.Carol was a good choice. Benedict Cumberbatch did a fantastic job as Khan, beside him Zachary did great job. While Chris Pine did lost some of his charm as James T. Kirk. He was great in first movie but he is kind of average in this one. I didn't cared about him much.

For me this movie some how failed to create the impact I experienced on watching Star Trek at 2009. May be I should watch it again. I am 26, I enjoyed Iron Man 3 few weeks ago. I am was excited about this movie but it didn't worked like that.

Last Words: Star Trek Into Darkness is good movie. A good experiences in 3D, Great Vfx and sound effects. 7 out of 10.

Battle: LA, a close to reality war experience with aliens.
26 March 2011
Forget what critic (others) says. This movie is enjoyable. Battle LA is one of the finest alien invasion movie. This movie is a third person view of a group of US marines getting their way out of the city invaded by Aliens. Battle LA is a modern combat war experience, no drama no bullshit. It sticks to the reality. Thats where audience lost the point, they expected another pop corn movie like Independence day/2012. But I do agree the movie lacks in some parts which prevents it becoming a great movie.

Visual and sound effects was awesome but camera work would have been better. Sometimes the camera annoys you, sometimes it gives you a first person experience.

On the whole its a close to reality and enjoyable ride. If you like war movies and serious visual & sound experience on big screen, this is the best thing right now.

Kick-Ass (2010)
8/10
Kick Ass, One of the Best of this year.
9 May 2010
Lets keep it simple. Kick Ass is not your usual super hero movie, It have something different to offer. I will call this movie a pulp of The dark knight, Spider man, Kill bill and Super bad. Its a teen movie with adult theme and it bends perfectly well. I know there is a hype against the Violence and language specially about the 11 yr old "Hit-Girl". Its a fictional movie and let be fictional. Yes may be some parents will offend to see that. If all directors started to care about parents, only Disney will survive... anyway thats not my point. Watch Kick-Ass if you want something new in superhero/comic movies, because it really kick ass.
