Slow pace family movie
2 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the movie although the two previous Göta Kanal movies were much better. It is always fun to see fast small boats splash bystanders. It was not always sunshine in the movie in some scenes it was raining which is typical for Swedish summers. The movie is perfect for anyone who wants a break from fast action, blood and violence movies. The pace is very slow, there is little suspense and the few comic situations will make you smile but not burst out in laughter. It is also suitable for small children since there is almost no violence and no sex or nudity. The comic situations are out of date. The story is not too simple so keep alert while watching the film. We look forward to Göta Kanal 4 hopefully with faster actions and more modern comic stunts.

Salsa and classical music do match!
3 May 2003
Easy classical and salsa music that makes you feel good. This is for sure a cross-cultural movie. The Latin, French and Spanish culture comes across. The plot gives you a positive memory of empowerment. However although this film contains salsa dance scenes, it is no film to train and practice dancing.
