Missing (2023)
Annoying
Annoying concept and annoying characters with a super annoying sound track. It's a Cell phone and laptop screen-centric movie about a mother of a teen daughter (self absorbed and totally annoying snot) and her boyfriend who go missing on a vacation, and the annoying snot's attempts to rescue them. We never get to know the mother or her Asian boyfriend, which makes it difficult to care whether they get rescued or not. In our case, *not*. If I failed to mention it earlier, the sound track is really, really, very, majorly annoying. A better version of this would have had the kid disappearing, and the rest of the cast living happily after. BTW...Did I mention the soundtrack?
C'mon C'mon (2021)
ugh
Pretentious, and boring snooze fest. However, in fairness, it was way too artsy-f artsy. Perhaps if we'd watched it with our pinky fingers extended, it would have been a little less awful. Beyond that, the clingy kid was annoying.
Hotel Portofino (2022)
Could have been better
Contrived script that should have taken better advantage of a beautiful location during an interesting period. Nothing much to see here except the scenery.
Free Guy (2021)
The women are semi interesting...
Ryan Reynolds simps and half lisps his annoying way thru this. If you like his style, you may enjoy this. I don't and I didn't. The men are portrayed as buffoonish.
Ham on Rye (2019)
Worse than 1 atar.
A complete waste of time. Disjointed, loaded with obscure symbolism, uninteresting plot, unlikable characters. We'd hoped for more, but we received a lot less.
The War with Grandpa (2020)
unfunny drivel.
A waste of time and talent. On the upside, the kiddos may not hate it.
