Family Guy: Tales of Former Sports Glory (2021)
Not Really Funny :/
Honestly okay until the end of Peter's story where they needlessly threw in a Baby Shark joke.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 4: Sanctuary (2019)
Best the show has to offer
Bryce Dallas Howard makes you really feel for the villagers and sympathize with them. The episode just feels so personal and cozy, definitely one of my favorites from the entire show.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 3: The Sin (2019)
In Deborah Chow We Trust
Probably the highest quality episode yet, with amazing visual acting thanks to Deborah Chow's incredible direction. Can't wait to see what she does with Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 2: The Child (2019)
Only thing that comes to mind is, "slick".
This episode may have more wonky visual effects here and there, but it's furthers the plot extremely well and is just so stylistic. Rick Famuyiwa is easily one of the best directors for Star Wars, ever.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 1: The Mandalorian (2019)
A good start for a great show
This episode is pretty good! It introduces Din awesomely and ends on an amazing cliffhanger! But a lot of later episodes are much better, even with some having quite a bit shorter of runtimes.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Real Fake News (2017)
Your average SVU Episode
Nothing wrong with this episode but nothing that makes it stand out either, however I dix quite enjoy the character of Duca and how scummy he was.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Welcome to the Pedo Motel (2021)
Acceptable but Unsatisfactory (in a way you may not think.)
This episode was alright! I think it had a particularly unsatisfactory ending, which is the usual joint with this show, but that's what you come to except and want, at least for me. What sets this episode apart is that that justice was served for Lonnie, but that wasn't focused on much at all. I wanted to see more of Eastman and his daughter and understand them further, however that wasn't what the episode was about. I think the Dykman Knights being here was a mistake in the long run, but they served there purpose and at times were very funny (unintentionally, however). I'm still getting used to Carisi being an ADA and there being a new detective after having not watched the show in a while, and this episode helped me better understand the new dynamic, and I gotta say, I really like it.
