Crossfire (2022)

I watched this because I'd been to the hotel it was set in. Can I recommend this? Well not really, it was fairly predictable and a bit preposterous all at the same time.

The twists and turns of the relationships were ok, but they could've made the show all on their own, or they could've made the show about the shootings and that would've worked too. However mixing the two together made a bit of a mess of the whole thing. It's a shame as the cast are all fine actors, but even a great cast headed up with Keeley Hawes couldn't save this.

The hotel Barcelo Tenerife is however worth a look, I can recommend it.

Star Trek: Picard: Watcher (2022) Season 2, Episode 4

Trekkies look again

Just watched Picard S2 episode 4. Full of Easter eggs for the sad Trekkies like me.

1 the Punk on the bus, straight from The Voyage Home.

2 Ginans bar was at 10 Forward street, straight from TNG.

3 The 21st Street Mission was at the end of the street, the very Mission run by Edith Keeler where Captain Kirk, Spock, and McCoy changed the future before.

4 The Watcher disappeared into a Portal like Gary Seven's 5 Q was sitting outside the Jason Roykirk institute, the builder of the original Nomad probe.

Those of you who thought it was slow obviously weren't "Watching"

Fun Quirky series

If you are looking for high drama, move on, if you want a light hearted little series sit down with a cuppa and let it wash over you.

It's a fine story, set in the sun, predictable characters and easygoing easy to follow scripts.
