80 milionów (2011)
Good movie
Not bad movie. In fact, quite a good one. It is based on a political conspiracy that occured in Poland in the early 80s. The movie focuses on one particular event of funding the huge revolta against militia. Good Polish actors are nicely picturing some true underground activists of that time. Great value of details like: cars, buildings, banners, posters and the way people dressed. However the movie is for people who lived in that times so they can recollect things and understand the message.
Supernatural: Pilot (2005)
Excellent opening of an brilliant series
I was really scared when watching the pilot. The appearance of Lady in White gave me goose bumps. Now, when the show is over and I am watching it from the very beginning I must say that it didn't age and is still one of the best shows ever.
Jurassic Park III (2001)
A good action film
This is a very enjoyable movie. I had mixed feelings before watching it but eventually it was good fun and well spent 90 minutes. I agree that there are not many inventive ideas and this is just another JP franchise but it is still a good one with nice touches of some characters coming back.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
Still a good movie
This is still a good movie however the low ratings come from the fact that its story is not believable. The prequel was and is a very fictional but the way it was done and the way the story was presented for the viewers it made an impression of something tangible. The Lost World shows no signs of such approach. It is fast paced from the very beginning without a slightest minute for the audience to have a thought through idea about something more than just an escape from the enormous reptiles.
Jurassic Park (1993)
A classic everyone should see
This is the movie that became a milestone in terms of special effects. A real actors who are acting in the open field blend with animatronics and computer generated special effects in a way that it is really hard to see what is real and what is not. Every installment of the franchise goes deeper and deeper in making this difference even more impossible to see and this is one of the many aspects why it is so great. Add to this an interesting story with strongly carved characters with who you are attached to and you get a classic title which is enjoyable to watch even 30 years later.
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
Horrible movie
I am not sure what this film is meant to be. It is completely different from the first part and both seemed to be fairly connected. The fight scenes are simply bad - even worse that these ridicule "flying acts" from the first part. Dialogues and so many other scenes are artificially extended making the movie last longer when it could have been finished in half of the time it takes. I regret watching the second part. Wasted over 90 minutes of my time.
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)
Disappointing
Finally I watched the movie and I am hugely disappointed. If I had seen it in 2003 it would have been the worst movie I had ever seen. Practically there is no Tarantino's dialogue line, pastiche like fighting scenes could have been interesting in the 80s but 2003 is not the year viewers would like to see them. At least I didn't. This movie is just bad.
