Daydreamer (2018–2019)

You're Missing Out, If You Don't Watch This Series! Watch it Now!

Whilst deciding Turkish series or movie to watch next, whilst waiting for new seasons of other series to resume, I happened to click on this on.

From the very first episode I was hooked! Can Yaman and Demet Özdemir give life to the book by Erkencishop En, The Phoenix and the Albatross.

Can Yaman's portrayal of his character Can Divit was exquisite. He is charismatic, humble, caring and passionate. Demet's portrayal of her character Sanem was stupendous. She is naive, only because she sees everything and everyone as she herself is, a pure heart, trusting, generous, loving, selfless.

The chemistry between these two is electric and throughout the series, everyone can relate to both characters, as well as the other characters who are their family and friends.

I guarantee you will not regret watching this series, you will be asking for more, or even a follow up series to it, or reading the book like I did.

Esaret (2022– )

Enthralling...not to be missed!

Cenk Torun's portrayal of his character Orhun is Oscar winning; equally so is Mahassine Merabet's portrayal of Hira.

Hilal Anay as Meryem and Ali Yagiz Durmus as Kenan also give outstanding performances.

From the opening scene of the first episode to the 100th episode (so far), you will be captivated by the multiple storylines, that weave and develop through the series, and the emotional rollercoaster.

There is intrigue, secrets and webs of lies that slowly unfold and come to light, innocence, pure hearts, strength to stand tall and never to lose faith or hope, remorse and regret when the truth that is sought is revealed, and love.

Friendships and the surprisingly turn of events and emotions, enthralls you into the series.

Just when you wish something will happen or wonder why something hasn't happened or want characters to meet, it happens. The writers have done wonderful storylines. The entire crew and production team are to be congratulated on the setting, the music and the production of this fantastic series.

Bir Nefes Yeter (2017)

Breathtaking! A Must Watch!

A truly beautiful, captivating, emotionally charged film. Seçkin Özdemir (Yaman) and Tüvan (Nefes) portrayal of their characters is spell-binding.

The entire cast and crew have delivered an extraordinary impeccable film, that may seem to some as a simplistic storyline, yet it wants for nothing more.

The music, the scenery/setting, and storyline are perfect as it is.

Even when words are not spoken, the actors use their facial expressions/eyes to convey the words and feelings they do not speak.

It is a film which will inspire people; some may take courage and strength from it; for others it may awaken or reawaken their zest for life.

Love Is in the Air (2020–2021)

Superb!

A must watch series! You will be addicted to it!

It has everything you could want.. a perfect mix.. romance, love, hate, jealousy, tension, comedy, excitement, respect, admiration.

The cast, the crew did fantastic work. I defy anyone to not laugh out loud at some of the scenes. How the cast managed to control their laughter is a miracle.

The music score and songs are so beautiful, and complement the story.

Have You Ever Seen Fireflies? (2021)

Enchanting!

Wonderfully written, the combination of comedy, sadness, youth and older generation was enchanting. It was fascinating to see the memoirs of the main character; the simplicity of it was perfect.

Actors, setting and the photography is amazing.

My Brother (2016)

Sweet sounds of laughter and music!

Burak Özçivit and Murat Boz portray their characters as brothers so convincingly. The harmony, disagreements and humour is captured perfectly. The music and singing is amazing. An excellent movie to lift your spirits!

Ask Sana Benzer (2015)

Enjoyable!

This movie has friendship, romance and is a tear-jerker. Love the singing by both Burak and Fahriye.. the music sweeps you up into the movie. The location it set in is perfect.

Wonderfully Funny

The sequel to the first movie is even funnier. Now Efsun is in a relationship with Sinan, the next step is marriage. But getting wedded has obstacles to overcome. Murat Yildrim (Sinan) and Ezgi Mola (Efsun) are fantastically comical and romantic.

Wow - You will want to be a part.

Kara Sevda - even my review won't do it justice. The actors portray their characters amazingly, you will grow to love, hate, cry and laugh with them. The emotion and intrigue storylines throughout the series will have you wanting more. The entire production team have made it wonderful, from the locations, scenery, music, camera captures perfectly the detail of each scene.

This is The MUST SEE series... Guaranteed you will be hooked from the start! Action, intrigue, betrayal, romance, heartbreaking drama and humour, just at the perfect moment.

The actors are sensational, a look, a smile, a whisper, a word, transcribes what is happening! Storyline is amazing! Scenery, location and action-packed scenes are fantastic. WOW🔥😍👏🏻
