Les amours d'Anaïs (2021)
"It was like out of time"
This phrase said by one of the main characters (Emilie) is the feeling that arises when you watch this love story. It is light, but at the same time emotionally deep. The chemistry between the actresses is amazing and all their joint scenes look in one breath - like the chapters of some beautiful poem. How can one not recall the Madame de Sevigne (French writer of the 17th century) mentioned in this film - "in essence, love always starts again." Maybe that's why the words that Anais and Emilie said when they first met - "you're beautiful" - "you too" are repeated during their last meeting. And although I, as a spectator, somehow feel Emily's embarrassment that she will try to say goodbye, this phrase, said again, gave me confidence that they would stay together. But the way they stayed together - that final interaction with this great music - exceeded my expectations.
So if you like French fragrance - open this bottle called "Anais in love")
Stella Blómkvist (2017)
Technically high quality and emotionally interesting
To be honest, I went to watch this series because of the love story of the main character Stella (which YouTube accidentally told me about). Usually in such cases, I skip everything else, because it's not very interesting. But here most of the stories got me hooked. And although the relationship between Stella and Dagbjort was still a priority for me, I watched about 80% of the series with interest. It seems that there are many such series - noir, neon light, crime, but here everything is presented with some kind of freshness and sparkle. I also like the humorous note at times. Great montage! And yes, the main character is great. It is felt that the actress plays on courage and just enjoys her role, and not just does the job. Her love line is interesting in its development (from sexual passion in the first season to human depth in the second season). All this taken together gives me reason to give high marks and hope for a 3rd season.
More Beautiful for Having Been Broken (2019)
I fell in love with this movie
In my opinion, this is Nicole Conn's best film. It will awaken your compassion for people with special needs (especially children) and inspire a wonderful lesbian story. The lesbian couple is played so beautifully thanks to the actresses Zoe Ventoura and Kayla Radomsky. Undeniable chemistry, subtly accentuated by the amazing dance of love, beautiful sex scenes and beautiful landscapes. How I wish there was another Nicole Conn movie with them. Desire that doesn't come to me so often after watching lesbian stories ..
As for those who say the film is "not Christian" - fear God! There is nothing more Christian when 3 suffering people become happy that they have found each other and help each other return to a fulfilling life. To call it "not Christian" just because these are 2 women is the obscurantism of the Middle Ages. I recommend for viewing to those who are looking for meaning, sincerity, romance, courage, sensual love, compassion in films and, which is important for lesbian couples, a happy ending)
And yes, I applaud the little actor!
