Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959)

AN INTIMATE AND EMOTIONAL MASTERPIECE HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND BRUTALLY HONEST

Hiroshima Mon Amour is an unforgettable film. The beginning is very unusual. It is about a depressed french actress having a love affair with a japanese man and they share their experiances 14 years after the Hiroshima tragedy. Soon the experiances the actress is telling the japanese man start to unravel as dark secrets about what happened to her and eventually what she says is overly deep and she starts to become emotionally unstable. Hiroshima Mon Amour (Hiroshima My Love) was written by Marguerite Duras the infamous author of "The Lover" aka L'Amant I read and loved and I discovered on the back of it she had written a brilliant filmscript for "Hiroshima Mon Amour" and i had to see it. It is heartbreakingly powerful and tenderly loving as well as psychologically disturbing and emotionally tragic. Please if you enjoy learning about Hiroshima or if you enjoy watching passionate love affairs this will enthrall you. 10/10 .

The Wizard of Oz on Ice (1996 TV Movie)

SUPERIOR MAGNIFICENT MARVELOUS OUTSTANDING EXTRAORDINARY ENTHRALLING UNFORGETTABLE

I remember this film from years ago. At the time of this films television release "The Wizard of Oz" ruled my life because it was so magical. I also loved ice skating because it was such a fascinating and different sport (or a particular category in "Around The World Skating"). When I heard about this I was so excited. I thought I would love it but instead I WAS COMPLETELY ENTHRALLED. After this film I fell in love with Oksana Baiul. We taped it but I do not know where the copy is. The film would be AMAZING on DVD. If you love ice skating and "The Wizard of Oz" anything (films or books) this will be your favorite film. "I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS MASTERPIECE".

Rose Red (2002)

A DAZZLING SUPERNATURAL MASTERPIECE FROM THE KING OF HORROR

Rose Red is an incredible film. It reminds me of "The Haunting". The story is very well polished. Stephen King always comes up with great ideas. The music score is highly trancelike and deeply evocative. King achieves well with his mini series movies like "The Shining", "The Storm of the Century",and "The Tommyknockers". Rose Red is a great film. I strongly reccomend this film.

The Lover (1992)

SUPERIOR,A PERFECT MASTERPIECE,VISUALLY STUNNING, THE BEST FILM EVER MADE

This is the best film I have ever seen. Jane March and Tony Leung are simply masterful. After I saw the film I read the book which is a touching autobiography by Maurgurite Duras and that was the best book I have ever read. Now I am reading "The North China Lover" which is another autobiography which is the same story and I am completely into it. This film gives me a wonderful feeling because all of this really happened. This was MASTERFULLY acted and OUTRAGEOUSLY filmed. It was wonderful to see the lush scenery in Colonial Vietnam. All of the storyline is touching and DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. Buy this film RIGHT NOW.

American Nightmare (2002 Video)

STYLISH AND RIVETING,REALLY GOOD,JUST LIKE THE CLASSIC 80'S SLASHER FLICKS

This film was a true enjoyment. Remember how slasher films usen to be made like A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET OR FRIDAY THE 13TH. This was made like one of those. Good suspense, good scares make this film work. Well this film at times has nude people and sexual content. But that doesn't matter because every film has it's moments. It was also very well acted.The young cast in this film probably has a big future ahead. ENJOY!

Jeepers Creepers (2001)

HORRIFYING,HAUNTING,HELLISH

This is withouut a doubt a true horror film. Very Very Very Scary plot and atmosphere than your usual horror film. I saw this at the movies today. A MUST-SEE for true horror fans. An EXCRUCIATINGLY high number scares,thrills,and chills. I STRONGLY reccomend this film to true Horor Fans.

To Die For (1988)

A MUST-SEE FOR FANS OF ROMANTIC VAMPIRE THRILLERS

To Die For has it all.This film has a great cast. Lots and lots of romance and terror. Not too gory but still enough to appeal to horror fans. There are a lot more vampire love stories. If you are a fan of vampire love stories I strongly recommend this film-10/10.
