Inside Man (2022)
Fun, clever limited series
The only downfall is David Tennent isn't bumbling enough but otherwise he's convincing as a man of God torn by his accidental accidents.
Stanley Tucci is immaculate, as usual.
I found it entertaining and thought provoking. The conversation is witty and makes you laugh even in tense situations.
Could I murder someone under the right circumstances?
How much do our actions impact others?
Is anyone truly able to get away with murder?
Can you ever truly trust even the people you love and live with?
How intertwined are all our lives even when we don't realize it? Not six degrees of separation; intertwined.
Elvis (2022)
The Elvis is remember
A stylized history of Elvis as only Baz Luhrmann can do.
Austin Butler captured the magnetism Elvis had and brought him to life. I love Tom Hanks but maybe this wasn't the movie for him.
I was eight when Elvis died but he was a huge part of my youth and musical appreciation so I was thrilled to hear his voice and see his amazing moves again.
It all brought me back to my childhood and captured the essence of Elvis and eventually 'Cilla behind the cameras.
If you want a Coles Notes on Elvis Presley this is it. If you love Elvis, watch the movie.
The mix of old and current music in the soundtrack is amazing too.
The Gray Man (2022)
Amazing fight scenes
Not sure what movie the people who gave under 7 stars watched, but the fight scenes were amazing! Bonus points for some truly knock out women's roles too. Watched it and immediately wanted to watch it again.
Baking It (2021)
Love the cheesy hosts!
The ONLY reason I'm watching this is because of Andy and Maya. There's 1000 cooking/baking shows and 10,000 holiday cooking/baking shows so this one stands out because of the hosts. Then the bakers are awesome and judges hilarious.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
It's not a documentary, stop hating
Not sure why people are hating on this movie. It's fantasy and has many LOL moments and Easter eggs. If you think LeBron James is bragging, he deserves to brag; he's not called King James because it's a snappy moniker.
Relax and let the movie entertain you. It's sweet and by the end James has an a-ha moment that changes his life view.
