Golda (2023)

A great story that could have been told in a better way.

A great story can be told with a few strokes of artistic points of view from the director. This story is a great story, but it is somewhat ruined by too much wasted time by the director injecting his own artistic elements into it. A lot more context could have been included, but if they did and also included the director's artistic rendition of the story, the movie would run for three or four hours long. If it sounds like I'm frustrated, the truth is that I am. Some directors think that their artistic input is more important than the story they are trying to convey. Many good stories have be ruined in this fashion. I almost never write reviews on films, or anything else for that matter. But this time I felt I really had to give my opinion on this film because I was expecting so much and ended up greatly disappointed.

The Creator (2023)

Amazing Movie! Amazing Actress

I don't understand how some critics here gave this movie anything less than seven stars. Yes, the movie, like any other movie, has its flaws here and there but not enough to give it less than seven stars. Madeleine Yuna Voyles was outstanding! She really made the story come alive and have a meaning. I think some critics have become too technical, too "robotic". As if they have lost all of their natural senses and all they take a look at when reviewing a film is budget, special effects and feel that if the film does not have the ending they expected, it's not worth a good rating. Come on people! Movies were made to be entertaining and enjoyable. They don't have have to be "perfect" to get decent rating. To those critics I say, go to the movies and enjoy. Don't go see a movie looking for flaws to point out.

Oslo (2021 TV Movie)

Do not listen to the exploson/car chase addicts

This is an incredibly interesting glimpse at one the most significant events in the history of the Israelí/Palestinian conflict. Yes! There is no action packed scenes, but rather intelligent dialogue that is interesting and thought provoking. There is also a sprinkle of humor that ties the whole story together. I highly recommend this movie to individuals who are interested in the behind the scenes look at the events that shape history.
