NOT IT
16 February 2023
For the last 2-3 years Marvel has brought low quality projects to the big screen and this one was no expectation. Trust me I'm a BIG MCU fan, I love Marvel so much, but post Endgame every movie seems cheap (No Way Home being the only exception). Quantumania is definitely not what I wanted it to be, I expected a lot more from the film. It has lazy writing, cheap performances and extremely weak CGI and VFX, which was really important considering that almost all of the film is shot in front of a green/blue screen! The only thing keeping the movie from being a total disappointment is Kang! Great introduction to the character, Jonathan Majors is AMAZING! Kang suits him perfectly, I can't wait to see more of him in Phase 5 and I think you will too! Also great post and after credit scenes!

Heartbreak High (2022–2025)
Sex Education meets Euphoria, somewhere in Australia!
23 September 2022
A cliché teen series made by Netflix once again! Sex, drugs, school and stupid teenage conflicts all over again. NO originality whatsoever! The series is basically a NOT so great attempt to put Sex Education and Euphoria together in a whole new show! The acting is really cheap and the actors seem really inexperienced, which leads to some scenes being unbearable to watch. I must admit though that, surprisingly, there were some really funny moments, that made me appreciate it's humorous side at least. The series also brings a lot of representation (non-binary characters, lgbtq+ characters, characters with autism) which is really great to see, but should have been done in a more tasteful way, or maybe it was the acting that made it seem cheap, I can't decide on the matter! All in all, if you don't know how to waste your time, watching this series is probably a good way to do it!

P. S. I found some really good music from the series, so I suggest having Shazam on standby!

Trash, mixed with Netflix's "teen portraying actors"
20 September 2022
Yet another lame and cheap Netflix production! It's really getting tiring watching Netflix make these type of movies. In my opinion it's a complete waste. It's basically a cliché of Netflix to use it's "teen portraying" actors to attract viewers but this time they overdid it. The script is ridiculously lazy and dumb, the acting probably the worst there is (from every single person in the cast), it was literally unbearable, I had to fast forward some scenes just to avoid the cringe! To put it bluntly it's a lame attempt to make a classic revenge story with up to date references and "woke" type characters! Would NOT recommend this movie in the slightest. Don't waste your time watching it like I did!

Went downhill way too fast!
20 September 2022
The movie starts the same as every other in this category. It's basically a cliche in these cheap horror type films! The only thing that kept me going through the movie was honestly the chemistry between Nathalie Emmanuel (Evie) and Thomas Doherty (Walt). In the first half of the movie there are some clever background scary parts that built the thrill and suit the horror element and also make you invest in the story. But as soon as the "secret" was revealed it was unbearable to watch! It really made the whole movie look extremely cheap and ruined everything that was good about it in the start!

It's all about the grip!
14 July 2022
It's a good series with a big cast of familiar faces and well known actors and actresses but with a not so original script! It feels basic and predictable in some moments but it's sooo gripping that it's not that big of an issue! It's well directed and the cinematography is really good. Acting became a little cringe in some scenes by a few actors and made the show seem kinda cheap but all in all the cast was good and they had a great connection on screen! In summary, it's a binge worthy crime/drama series focus on trauma and how it affects every aspect of your life.

True binge worthy, feel good series!
27 June 2022
It's a fun show and it's definitely worth watching! It has the right dose of comedy and drama, not too much not too little and that's exactly how feel good series should be! It has some really funny scenes which make you laugh your heart out (especially in ep. 6). There's only one thing that I truly hated (and that I hate in general, in shows where there's a gay lead) which is that Grindr is always mentioned. As a gay man myself I hate when they illustrate gay culture with Grindr! Stop depicting gays as these sex hungry beings, we're not all the same you know! Other than that I really enjoyed the show and I'm hoping for a second season!

PS. I found some really good music from the show!

The right amount of tears & laughs!
17 June 2022
It's a classic indie film and that's a plus in my book! It's a really nice story and it's perfectly directed, Cooper Raiff did an excellent job! There are some really joyful and humorous moments, really liked Raiff's sense of humour and there also some touching scenes, in particular the one where Raiff and Johnson talk about depression (I cried my eyes out during that scene)! Though I'd like to notify that there's a cringe dialogue between them in another scene later in the movie too! All in all, the movie is definitely worth watching if you love the combination of sentimental and funny!
