Never Give Up - perfect title great show

Just gave this one a shot. When I started the series there were no IMDB ratings. This is one of those shows that gets better and better each episode. The lead character is beautiful . He's funny and isn't afraid to embarrass himself. He's full of love and generosity. Just a person you want to be friends with. The plot and sub plots are all truly entertaining but it's the theme I love the most. It's about caring for others. This is a special show. Very funny, heartfelt, and inspiring . I gave it a 10 because it deserves to be an 8.5. Right now it's at 7.6 which is fine but the cast of actors are tremendous. Some nice twists , some action, crime, even the son does a couple of cool Korean hip hop tunes. Overall it's great ! I can't see anyone not thoroughly enjoying this series. A great find on Netflix. Just watch it and you'll see.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022)

Amazing beautiful entertaining as all heck

I rate a lot of shows but I can't be bothered writing a review. So it airs twice a week . I just finished episode 8. I love it so much that I'm sad every time an episode ends. It's really this good. Thus I'm compelled to write a review . I love K Dramas nowadays and South Korea has been killing it with wonderful shows. This is again a unique show , story's main character is focused around brilliant Autistic young rookie lawyer . I'm know expert with Autism in general but I'm sold on the character . She's adorable to watch. The cases thus far are entertaining and It's pure joy to watch . So I'll resume episode 9 and 10 next week and sit back and enjoy. A 10 rating might be a bit high, but Its just fantastic all around. So for me , it would be remiss to give it a lesser rating. Highly recommend for everyone!

Can't say enough. You have to experience the series

Just watched the 3 episodes on Netflix. It was intense, brutal, and savage. But there is an element of hope. The 2 boys were phenomenal. Their plight was not pleasant to say the least. They stuck together throughout every scene no matter their dire circumstances. This show was flawless. Anyone with a soul would rate this as outstanding. I was completely enthralled in their plight throughout their harrowing experiences. It's well worth your time if you can stand brutality inflicted upon children . And I must add That's a big if. This is not a pretty show. It is gut wrenching for the most part, but these boys also inspire. The script is excellent, performances fantastic. The mini series pulled me into their world and I forgot I was watching a TV show. I was more of an eye witness. This is how great a production it is. A def 10!

Tunu: The Gift (2017)

Beautiful

It's the rare gems to can catch if you get lucky. Just a great movie with great actors. Very heart felt and real. So happy I saw this movie. I hope more people will support this film. Moshoto is a young man in his early 20's working in the city and learns his Mom passes away. So he heads back to the farm for her funeral. He's a man of integrity and gentleness but he's totally lost . This is when the story unfolds . 10/10 for real!

Yup 80 episode's. But I was enthralled throughout . Game of Thrown's type series but far better! I mention GOT only because it's one of the top watched series but king's War blows it away. It's an epic historical drama that takes place 3rd century BC China. Never a dull moment . It has it all. Great Actors, Huge phenomenal battle scenes , intelligent political strategy, love, hate, loyalty , betrayal, etc. Thanks again to Netflix and the above reviewer . Looked forward every night to come home from work to watch all the episodes. Great Production all around. It had spectacular heart wrenching moments and great humor. Just Loved it!!! Some of the characters are unforgettable. That's how good they were . Ty.

I enjoyed it right from the start even though some of the actors did annoy me at first. At first! But man they all came into their own as the show went on. This was a brilliant funny Heartwarming story. The lead actor is phenomenal. It deserves a 9.0 on IMDb . The Koreans are killing it. So many wonderful we'll thought out story lines with depth and humanity. This one in general I'm going to really miss. So happy I found it on Netflix. Thank you.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021– )

Love this show

After 8 episodes, this is Just a beautiful show. The main lead actor is perfect ! Some of the town neighbors are a little annoying but that's the only knock I have. But some of them are very good. How come South Korea can keep hitting it out of the park with one wonderful show after another? I just don't see the warmth and heart felt stories in TV series from the West. Bottom line : Another wonderful romantic show brought to us from S Korea.

Narappa (2021)

Man, I went into this not knowing anything. Did not have the slightest clue. Just saw it had an 8.2 rating so I thought it probably would be good but IMDB is always on target. Now This is one hell of a flick. Thankfully there's a pause button to read the subtitles , I didn't want to miss one word . Great acting , great plot, wonderful characters, this is a must see. I feel bad for Americans who don't have patience to read subtitles, there are so many wonderful international movies and shows streaming on Netflix and Amazon. And Narappa is definitely one of my favorites. Wow!

Wild District (2018–2019)

I love this guy!

This series is a must! The main character is a quiet lethal weapon. He pulls off the roll so well. He's humble and cute (being uneducated and such) but he's a stud . I love these type of characters in a show. Very humble but don't mess with him! It is so cool. Might be more of a guys show. But regardless, highly Recommend.

This show really kept me interested . The lead actress is gorgeous and as well an excellent actress . How the series unfolds is simply amazing. Big thumbs up for me. I cannot understand several low ratings . Was I watching the same show? It's not good but great!

Dirilis: Ertugrul (2014–2019)

One of the very best

Story takes place at the dawn of the Ottoman Empire. The lead actor who plays Ertugral is so charismatic and brilliant. It's a long series but I never wanted it to end . The character actors are also great. It dragged a a tiny bit in spots, but overall an epic series. I loved learning about the Medieval Muslim culture too. I admired the camaraderie very much. This is a must watch if you like Historical fiction. I say Fiction because I can't find much on the real Ertugral except the fact the he was the father of Osman I. Bottom line, it's fantastic and heart felt.

Gave this movie a 10. Now, I never give 10's but I'm trying to offset this ridiculous 6.9 score. But it's a legit 8.5.

The acting is superb. The story line totally original and captivating. For anyone reading this review, it's not a feel good movie. It's heart wrenching to say the least. But it's raw man. It's one of the most legit movies I've seen all year. It's not like a Guy Ritchie or Tarantino gangster flick. And it's not the God Father either. If I had to compare it to Hollywood , I'd say more like Donny Brasco or Good fellas. But it's a really a quite unique take on gangster movies. I don't ever leave spoilers so all I can say is it is dynamite. I will find out who Directed this movie and check out more of his work. Thank goodness for some good reviews or I would have passed it up. This is not one to miss.

Here's a show I would just pass on but it got great reviews so I took a shot. Only the Koreans could pull off such an implausible premise. But I Love it! Another spectacular love story. Really good job.

First of all The main actors are gorgeous and are stud actors. This is a definite South Korean Classic. The love story is sublime. The only knock and it's so minimal are the couple of American Actors . They're just reading lines , but they play bit roles or this gets a 10 out of 10. The set and the story line is superb. But the greatest attribute I think are the facial expressions of the lead characters. There is so much said without having to speak a word. I rarely see that in shows or movies. This one should not be missed.

Man , this flick is crazy!!! Took a shot with no expectations. I will say there is violence, blood, and gore so it may not be for everyone . I don't even know where to begin . This is a movie that's starts off interesting starring a cute teenage girl and her best friend and family. But then it blasts off and does a 180! I Saw it twice. It's so original it's hard for me to compare it to anything else. I guess it falls under the genre of horror, not sure because I'm mostly into drama's. It's so well written and acted as well as creepy at times . But I use the word "creepy" with a positive connotation . I don't use spoilers , so just buckle up and go for it! Kick ass flick.

Just finished Beyond Evil. Great plot, wonderful acting. Tremendous suspense. Great characters . If you like crime series , this one is as good as it gets. No spoilers here. Just sit back and enjoy.

This is epic. One of the best series I've ever seen. The 2 main Actors are not only beautiful in appearance but they are great actors. This show has it all . And the minor flaw that I mentioned in the caption is very minor indeed and they have bit parts. But the rest is a 10. I don't give out 10's easily. So a 9 out of 10 is a must. This is the show that got me into watching dozens of K-Dramas. South Korea is now my go to on Netflix.

Cheonsangui hwawon (2011–2012)

Watched just about everything on Netflix. Fell in love with South Korean shows the past 2 years . I've watched dozens, ones better than the next. I'm writing this review since there are so few. I was hesitant about Heaven's Gate since it's almost a decade old and I feel K-Drama's have really come a long way since this premiered but I took a shot. Mind you I'm only starting episode 7 (out of 30) but I know where it's going . Tremendous thus far. So heartfelt and legit. Great story line, I'm not going go into details , but it's fantastic
