Kraftidioten (2014)
Boring and stupid
You call it humour? You call it dark? This awful mess without a single fresh idea, without a single role acted decently? This boring sequence of monotonous beating each other in the face with his fist? How is it possible to speak about Tarantino and Cohen brothers in front of such garbage? Put 2 just for snow.
Moonwalkers (2015)
I love it!
Madly hilarious, brilliantly dark, deliciously absurd - a real cult. To all conspiracy theories and all conspiracy theorists dedicated.
Copie conforme (2010)
A Certified Copy
Well done, always balancing masterfully on the imperceptible line between the "original" and the "copy" in everything - acting, dialogues, relationships. Sometimes make you smile and sometimes make you sadden, but never laugh or weep. Subtle and elegant, a really good film if you appreciate the questions more than the answers (like me).
The Stunt Man (1980)
Just perfect, a little pearl.
Seen it for the first time in early 80-s, and liked it a lot. I was not sure I would like to see it again because I was afraid to damage my first fresh impression - often what we have seen and liked in our youth results not so good and interesting when we are matured. Then I risked... and it was just the same that in 80-s. Rather better, because I have captured more details. A perfect mix of suspence, humour, philosophy and art. An extravagant, sparkling, intense and clever tale about fiction and reality, art and life, truth and illusion. With an excellent acting and a sublime Peter O'Tool. With a memorable sound track. There is everything you would like to have in this film! Just perfect.
Jagten (2012)
One-dimensional
The movie has no depth at all. No nuances. No psychological details. Simple and direct as a hit of a wooden club. Not credible at all. Not well done. Put 5 for a however sensible subject and main idea, good acting and beautiful nature scenes.
Togo (2019)
A mediocre movie about an outstanding story
Great Race of Mercy. One of the most beautiful and touching pages of the History of Humanity. Leonhard Seppala and Togo. Successful beginning of massive vaccine company in the whole USA. The birth of the modern Siberian Husky race, both working dog and home pet.
I don't pretend the respect of all historical details. But at least the main points should be revealed. We are speaking about the risk for the life of at least TEN THOUSANDS of persons, leaving in the zone! In the movie seems that they are trying to save only a handful of children. No idea at all about the caliber of the possible catastrophe. No idea about at least 5 dogs that had lost their lives during the Race, no idea about the numerous frostbites of the mushers.
It could be a really GREAT movie. Great and touching. I expected so much to see it... really disappointing. It was just flaccid. Flaccid and somewhere boring. What a pity. I advise everybody who liked this film - just try to read about the real story. Wherever you want. Also Wikipedia can be OK. It is much more moving, trust me!
