How many cliches can you pack into a phone booth? Well, "Fall of the House of Usher" certainly tries to find out. From throwaway lines about Trump and every other billionaire grifter that currently walks the face of the earth, to coma inducing diatribes about consumerism, waste, planetary destruction and greed this series seems to be a Millennial's wet dream.
But what, no plot worth talking about, no character development, no iota of empathetic beings in the entire eight episodes? Jeez, maybe it you're an Edgar Allen Poe fan. Well not really. Even that's botched up.
Maybe it's a vanity piece, because "Midnight Mass" was so good and the diametric opposite of this waste. Enough said, I clearly was disappointed.
