Cruise Ship Killers (2020)
NAMES were CHANGED from REAL CRIMES. Pls Read! Tips
If you are wondering, the names, dates and details of all these crimes have been altered completely in this show. I think this would have received a higher rating had this been made clear from the beginning. For instance, Episode 1 from Season 1. The first and last name of the couple were completely different. Their occupations were different. Their names were. Scott and Karen Rosten. He was a chiropractor. In reality, the federal judge (federal court, high seas murder) used special circumstances to send him to prison for life. He claims innocence to this day. The country he claimed was involved was Israel, not Ukraine. No ties to Israel were ever proved. There is a good 48 Hours that was made in 2006 from CBS if you can find it. Try to stream from their website for free or on YouTube TV. I noticed the rating for this show was higher in Canada and UK, that may be because those countries are not research freaks like we are in the US. There is an article out there from emmacruises dot come that will list what the real cases are compared to these episodes. I have this 5 stars because it at least puts 26 cruise ship crimes in one show which is interesting. Happy Sleuthing!
The Lost Daughter (2021)
Another "movie" to normalize sloppy morals ...
Careless and dishonorable parenting behaviors are featured in this sleepy, plodding, slow moving, boring title which predictably was loved by all 1% of world's award festivals, whose sycophant participants coincidentally also have these traits of immorality and self-indulgence. Oh but it is all so hot when there's a cute actress doing the dirty scenes and, after all, it's just the kid's childhood. See, this is the issue. Hedonists live for themselves. The novel should have never been a movie in the 1st place. Sorry Mags.
Swimming Pool (2003)
Unforgettable Dreamlike Movie If You Understand It
This movie has a ethereal, strange vibe to it. It is over the top in many ways. This is because it is not happening. It is occurring in this writers imagination. There is a very good synopsis of this movie out there in web land but suffice to say the director says this: "Charlotte's character kept mixing fantasy and reality. Although in Swimming Pool, everything related to fantasy is part of the act of creation, so it is more channeled and less likely to end up causing madness. In terms of directing, I've treated everything that is imaginary in Swimming Pool in a realistic way so that you see it all - fantasy and reality alike - on the same plane." So, guys no one was hurt, no one had S@x, no one came to the house, no one tricked Charlotte. This is a deep movie about a frustrated writer who resentful about her life, the subject she is known to write about and her publisher. Give this movie a chance and use your intuition. These are two actresses at the top of their acting game and this director uses his craft to create a beautiful dream like movie.

Wonderful Movie
What a wonderful story of life and childhood. It is a about kindness, loss, love, friendship, family and growing up. At the end I cried simply because it was so sweet. If you have a heart at all you will love this. The animation and screenplay is fantastic, funny and imaginative. I literally watched this with a 14 year old boy and it held his attention. Great story, please just watch it. So unique and endearing. For ages 2-100.

Do not let the trailer trick you.
An excuse for this long, long, long time actress to feel sultry one more time. An excuse for gore. An excuse for low ceiling, uncomplicated, no brains needed plot and screen play. An excuse for more angry people violence. An excuse for the "revenge for a murdered loved one" trope. An excuse for a cool trailer which is the only thing that is cool about this disaster. Skip this you'll thank all of us who saved you an hour and change. Ugh...
Hunt for the Skinwalker (2018)
How to waste access to George Knapp and SW Ranch researchers...
It's incredible to me that this "film maker" wasted the opportunity and access to not only George Knapp but his archives. I suffered through his ridiculous and boring, over bearing monologues to watch George's few snippets. Watch this to see the NIDS scientists featured in the still relevant news interviews by George. Then abhor it because this filmmaker really thinks he is now a part of this ranch's legendary and storied past and says as much in this film. Lol. No, he is not. He has not done the work in the paranormal field. Plus he's far too pompous for his own good.
Why Did You Kill Me? (2021)
Great idea in theory
I think the documentary makers found a strange story and told it. I think it was interesting to create a model to show how the incident occurred. I felt some of the story was too fragmented and thrust together. I found myself very irritated with the mother of the victim which I realize is taboo. I found her to be (perhaps edited in such a way) behaving more "rough" than she really needed to be in light of her age and current situation. (the mother of a murdered child) I do not think she was helpful at all bringing justice in her daughter's case. I found the niece very sympathetic and sincerely heartbroken. This child and the detective seemed to be the only individuals in this whole two hour documentary who were grounded in everyday, law abiding reality.
People Magazine Investigates (2016)
Voice fry and nasal whine
Please stop using People Magazine team members who have horrible habits of voice fry, valley girl speak and like sounding more nasally than 14 year olds. I had to turn Law & Order espisode off today because of this.. .voice class.
Carmel: ¿Quién mató a María Marta? (2020)
Unsatisfied but interesting
Had this murder happened in the USA it would have been solved. What a crazy place. It is a wonder anyone survives traumatic injury or gets convicted in that country. I guess who killed Maria is up there with who killed the Kennedy brothers now.
