Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Fails to Inspire Emotion
It was a horrible film. It failed at anything it tried to acheive.
Possessor (2020)
Great Strong Themes
Loved this movie, I think nobody else will really. I love the Macabe, Creep and Grotesque. The movie was full of it. What is great, the movie had no relatable themes in it what so ever, meaning there is no chance of it ever being real. The movie seems like it was written by an AI. It has some incredible Artistic moments which could inspire the Blackness in you. This is how the grotesque is portrayed in this movie. It is not a pleasant movie, it will not leave anyone feeling good. I loved it. Lastly, all the characters look great, plenty of nudity and the personalitys do seem beleivable in an unbeleivable setting. The setting is also highly origional.
Freaky (2020)
Slasher Comedy
The show has a decent slasher horror theme. There is nothing grotesque here, the smut humour is easily tolerable. The characters are nice to look at. It was a decent movie. The advertisment song in Australia is a short from "Die Antwerp", the songs name is "Fink u Freaky."
The Comeback Trail (2020)
Decent, Nice Movie.
A very decent movie with a simple plot, no logic missing, filled with great humour all the way through and a decent humour spectrum from oddities, hyperbolic stunts, character sattire and 1970's satire. It was great. Not a single thing to make you feel bad, a great ending too. Characters are easily relatable.
Blair Witch (2016)
3.5 Hours of Boredom
The movie is extremely long, the end is very over done to the point of silly. The sound track at the end does not add anything. The production is poor. Nothing happens at the beginning or the middle, the first 2 hours consist of watching a group of people go camping and experience a few supernatural moments. These moments are 20 minutes from each other. The movie is interesting in how much story it tells, watching it is like watching a home video diary. This makes it an extremely poor horror movie. There was nothing that could have made it a better movie from the cast, it needed a condensed script, premium linking scenes and a decent audio and visual production. A foray into teenage rebellion whilst camping and nudity would have made the movie complete trash. The location of filming and more natural beuaty, in a style similar to the Revanent with its Grotesque soundtrack, would have truly added to the movie.
The New Mutants (2020)
AAA Force Made B
Good B grade movie.
Good Acting, Nice horror Components. Loved the Flayer-Matic Elastic Man. Reminded me of a real grim reaper. Finish was really lazy, No one finishes a psychological horror with a "I'm Sorry" and a "Brow Kiss" which was how it ended. Main Evil Character was not really evil, themes where not fully explored. Some where too dark to explore, still would have been good for a brush over. Actors not pretty to look at but it suited the comic super hero style. Wonder Women is not pretty. Movie still has a unified artistic vision.
The movie could have been or had the following: A movie series, longer/more story, better choice of backstory from marvel, not been mismanaged, not been mismanaged in transfer, not put on a backburner, been a decent start story for a series.
I am sure the owner of the Studio and franchise will fund it. I am sure there will be many axed jobs because of this. Funding is no problem.
The Outpost (2019)
Refused to watch it
I refused to watch yet another overly "brutal" but yet "sensitive", they are all so "bro" and the worlds best "lovers" movie portrayal of any national military. The military reality is everyone has a vocational certificate, is low paid, are mildly not happy, has a target to acheive then leave and scrape along well. I dislike this particular stylisation and state that the Fast and Furious does it the best whilst including some pretty females. I also strongly dislike the water carrying look of steroided males which many men aim for in the 2020s due to a lack of something, strength does build naturally. Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt is the most prime example of a fit male. I also dislike the Nationalism context or stylisation or the Political Inferences I think of in regard to these movies and feel they are a slur to armed forces. They are just not bibliographical enough and what they depict is never publically shown. I feel it is disrespectful. Good movie to watch intoxicated.
Antebellum (2020)
Decent AA Film
I liked the Psychological Horror which was easily relatable to and not over done, like in Django. I liked the realism of it and the realistic ending, a supernatural ending would not have been as good. It was good it had a nice ending. I loved the see through hessian sacks. I also enjoyed the moments of supernatural creep the movie did portray. It was difficult to know where the movie was heading untill the end, it concluded well. The setting was historically accurate untill you discover the true time period. The actors where nice to look at.
City of Lies (2018)
Decent AA Production
The story telling is great. I refuse to comment on anything else due to the political recount of the film. I beleive nearly none of the film is true but it is easy to see how the events portrayed, sit next to many things that actually happened, that are highly ugly, show a larger picture than the film and is terrifying. A great film to watch and never to discuss.
Bloody Hell (2020)
Good Timekill at the Cinema
Good movie, stops before grotesque. Its mainly creepy. Acting staff are pretty which is important when making between an AA and B grade film. Main character, Hateful Mother and the Love Interest is are great in screenplay and portrayal. Loved the Cannibal themes and the Lovable loser main character thinking to himself. Audio is good creep complement.
Akira (1988)
Appealingly Grotesque
A very nice Science Fiction film that subtly mocks Colonial Style Imperialism and Blue Collar Nationalism in a most rewarding manner. I watched the 2020 4K remaster and loved the vibrant art and perfectly matched soundtrack. Everything has a very good matched pallete and a homogenous vision. I think the studio that made this where reasonably old and it shows a matured polished product. The characters are easy to dislike, there is no chance of feeling pity for anything in the movie, the violence and supernatural+Sci-Fi horror is artistically appealing, the setting shows a Grotesque Japan that can be related to, with a knowledge of Communist or Nationalist idealogy which is common in Asia. The themes where only mildy different or stretched from a 1970 to 1995 Japan or Heavily Western influenced Asia. This movie is unreachable to most USA and Commonwealth Country Citizens.
Tenet (2020)
Fast, Much Story. Watch Multiple Times.
Very fast movie. There are 2 screenplay logic holes. The beginning scene, on how they got burnt and ended up there and the ending, on where the movie will lead and the protagonists back story. The movie often feeks like vast back story scenes where cut or the screenplay was adapted from a 10 part TV series and the linking scenes where chopped. The Time loops are incredible, with no logic flaws, excepting a prequel and sequel needing to be made, with possibly further and stranger time loops. The action is stylised to be unvelievable which is great, the portrayal of In-Law terrorism is genuine. The characters are colorful and the story throughput is immense. There is nothing dist-tasteful, it was great.
The Invisible Man (2020)
Very Psychologically Grotesque Movie
I was offended by this movie. I did not like the acting cast or the characters, for the ugliness of the characters in the script and when I looked for prettiness in the acting cast there was nothing pretty to look at. I highly did not like the psychological slavery horror. I highly liked Antebellum, Bloody Hell and the Net Flix AI movie. This is a very artistically gotesque movie in a psychological manner, I also did not like the portrayal of Science Fiction technology that deviated from the traditional stereotype. This is why I was offended. I also hate Downers use.
The Empty Man (2020)
I loved it.
I loved this movie and want to fund more.
1. A horror thriller apocalypse smash.
2. A teenager follow up.
3. The first empty man, follow up.
I loved the production, script, settings, music, creep interlaced with the horror moment. I loved the multiple uses of differing horror themes and the three to five differing sets of horror stereotypes used. Cast is attractive, looks great when it shows.
Honest Thief (2020)
Good Production, Bad Script.
I hated this movie. The characters where poorly written and contained rational logic and emotional logic flaws. The action is realistic when compared to a singke fact that nobody can shoot straight in real life but is not entertaining on screen and ruins a viewing experience. The characters portrayal and stereotypes where also off putting, they where all portrayed as fatalistic desperate losers. The tough guy personas was really odd, I will never make eye contact with those actors, in any private area. The production was great, the score was a little above tolerable but it mismatched the odd script. The movie did not give a homogenous feeling or a unified artistic sense. It seemed as it got dragged through being corporated out sourced, to make a quick dollar with no unified management.
Radioactive (2019)
Got up and left.
I will never fund these peoples career again. I enjoyed the advertisments more, the cinema was empty. I actually did get up and leave. My issue was a bibliography recount, starting at the end, where she gets sick and falls over, with a poor music production. The effort to recreate and show historical detail seemed very realistic. The effort to create drama was disgusting. I beleive the film should have been fun and lighthearted. It got ruined.
