Derby Girl (2020– )

Starts great but gets lost
6 February 2023
Starts with a bang and I was sure to see some great roller derby stuff, but honestly, my two 8 year old twins, can skate better faster and with more punch on a flat track.... This series give the impressions as if roller derby is a game for loosers, which it is in real life defenitly not.

All scenes on the track give you the impression as if none of the actors has ever skated before.

An evening in a teeny roller disco has defenitly more stunts and entertainment to offer than this.

The story has enough inside to make it work, but at the end this thing should be called "Debbie the Girl" and not "Derby Girl" .

Woman of the Dead (2022– )

Well done, with a nice spin of dark humor

The series does not have a sexy protagonist in hig heels, but a good sporty woman with a real live.

She has a fulltime job, two kids and is happily married.

She has a wealthy background, because here family is the coroner of that area since a few generations.

All of a sudden here relaxed live changes dramatically due to an accident. Accident?

After that accident live is diffrent a some here in the forum think its strange, that she hops on the ducati and can really drive it at high speeds.

Well honestl, whats so special about that? Nothing, as she is not a "City biker", If you are grown up in the mountains and have been driving a motorbike when you where young, then you will defenitly know how to handle a bike, as the mountains dont excuse flaws and on the other hand, give you a lot of training ground when you are young.

The element of the motorbike was taken, to show the break in here live, after the strong cut due to the accident.

Until that moment, she was living a secure normal mom live, with low riscs, to keep the family save since the birth of her daughter.

Now she feels, she has to wake up and take things in here own hands again and she does that very impressive.

The series is absolutly worth the time watching it (including some dexter fun), Have fun!

Popcorn Horror at its best
13 January 2022
To find a horror splatter movie with humor inside is not an easy task, this one is working fine. I just had a very nice evening with a friend having some fun with this one. You ask yourself a few times: will they dare to do it.... And then , yep it happens.

This one is really worth watching.

Starting with a fresh story, but then it fails
15 November 2020
The first 2 Series really show some fresh new story and a good plot, but then there starts the third series and suddenly the nice plot gets destroyed by stupid story lines. Actors in some scenes are behaving so idiotic, that you ask yourself which teeny wrote the details. Dont get me wrong, the plot could have been a real real good story, but they messed up on the details.

The hybrids, which are prepping since a century or so, cant even defende or secure their own home base. everybody can come and enter their ground or buildings and make photgraphs, or attack someone....they cant protect a little child as a group, from a single person kidnapping it. Ridicolous.

The main powerplant of the city can be destroyed by a single car crashing into a building. Honestly, who ever hired those cheap writers should be fired. They ruined a good plot for nothing.

I could write down tons of examples, but I dont want to spoiler too much for those still having fun with that series.

give me more of this kind of miniseries!
2 November 2020
Honestly, this is the kind of pearls which pop up from time to time in the streaming channels. First I wasnt sure if this would suit my taste, but it took me from the beginning and I was sad when the last episode was over! Great characters and good text and context. I had some nice laughs and some tears and a lot of good time. Can there be a second series? I am not sure, but the characters would be worth to be developed in further story. Even if that would leave the big tournaments.
