The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)
Best show in the last 10 years
This truly is a "marvelous" show. The performances are immaculate, the writing and directing is spot on, and the set design is breathtaking. Truly, this show is one of the best. Need I say more?

Terrible writing and the leads were miscasted
I agree with the others in saying that if you remove the two leads, this show might have been better. However, the writing was so poor that nothing could have saved this. Long, confusing, and the characters are unlikeable to such a degree that in the end I stopped caring about the outcome. This is a dull show, down right stupid...horribly written and filmed by amateurs.
Euphoria (2019)
People - relax it's entertainment
If you're above the age of 50, please try not to claim ridiculous opinions on how the minds of teenagers work. I know because I was one not too long ago. This reviewer stated that she did not believe that all teens think about sex, drugs, relationships, partying etc. - that is complete bonkers, you're clearly far too old to understand how teenagers and young minds work, let alone young enough to give "your take" on the mind of an 17 year old and mature themes and subjects. And...the adults in Euphoria are not much better. If you don't like the show, don't watch...but don't write an ignorant rant on how you think the show could be better. Zendaya is an amazing actress who can portray her character down to the way she snorts vitamin B on screen, to fighting with her mom and overdosing, and what it really takes to show accurate drug abuse to viewers who have not personally experienced these things on their own. Oh and btw there's multiple love stories going on here. The writing, directing, acting is well above par. Btw - Sydney Sweeney is a goddess. Cheers.
The Last Dance (2020)
Best of the best!
Amazing documentary that follows one of the greatest eras in professional basketball. If you can't follow the chronology then you're an idiot. The documentary follows the bulls throughout the '98 playoffs/finals. They do go back to the beginning of all the key player's careers in the 80's and then 90's with a heavy focus on the playoffs and championship games. The documentary comes back full circle in the '98 finals. It really is beautifully done. I loved the commentary from the other players, coaches and mgmt. The footage is stunning and takes the viewer inside the locker room and shines a light on the bulls team as well as MJ. Steve Kerr's story was enthralling. Last second game winning jump shots from MJ, Paxson, and Kerr gave me chills. Loved every second of the footage, really brought me back to the 90's. MJ is arrogant as hell but rightfully so, his determination and competitive nature is beyond any human athlete. We will never get another MJ, and this is a good reminder that we don't need one. 10/10.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
Why?
Terrible...just terrible. However the first 10 minutes was satisfying. Not satisfying enough to keep me from cringing. The writing, editing and directing took this movie from bad to just plain ridiculous. Wasted effort...sadly.
Seaspiracy (2021)
Eerily the same as Cowspiracy, it's greater predecessor
Good doc, poor format. Watch cowspiracy after and you'll know what I mean.
They Call Us Monsters (2016)
Harsh reality
There are consequences to your actions but sadly these kids have been raised to a life on the streets. Who is really at fault here?
Gangs of London (2020)
Modern Gangster Masterpiece
Brilliant story, acting, writing, directing etc. this show gave me chills. It would have been so easy to fall within a Cliche gangster story - but man oh man it's original to the core. It's a must see! Can't wait for season 2.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)
Horrible. Did they make the teenage actors write the episodes beforehand???
Season 3 and 4 are terrible. This is the most ridiculous series I've ever seen. Sad...the first two seasons were going somewhere good.
Thank god they cancelled it. Everyone who worked on this show should be expelled from Greendale High.
FYI there are no spoilers because I have no idea what the hell is going on. The end!
Six Feet Under (2001)
That ending...
This is a show about death as much as it is about life. Raw, beautiful, powerful and still very relevant today. The last episode wraps up the story of the Fishers and their counterparts, through their obstacles and triumphs, coming full circle in beautifully shot segments with the idea of: life after death and death after life...And in such a tasteful, magnificent way - it still makes my heart hurt every time I watch the series. Life is an amazing journey. Thank you Alan Ball.
