A Man Called Otto (2022)
Tom Hanks does it again!
What can I say, this is another great movie starring Tom Hanks - I've yet to see a bad movie with him in it.
This is a great, heart-warming story that makes you feel apart of it and gets you hooked and invested in the characters, but it is a tear-jerker for sure!
The only reason I dropped a star is because although I think it was appropriate and cute to use Tom's real life son (Truman Hanks) as his younger self, we all know what Tom Hanks looked like in his 20s, so it would've been nice to use deepfake to recreate a Tom from when he was younger.
All in all, another great film by Tom Hanks and I'm already looking forward to whatever he does next.
Sully (2016)
Tom Hanks delivers again
A fabulous story of courage, experience, amazing achievement and heroism during a time of impossible bad luck delivered in a fantastic movie where the best possible actor for this role, Tom Hanks, again delivers a faultless act impersonating the gentleman that is Captain Sullenberger.
Superstore (2015)
Stick it out to the end of season 1
I initially thought this show was 'ok' for much of Season 1, however towards the end it just really picks up and I've been addicted ever since. Honestly, I love it and wish there were more than 6 seasons!
Santa Claws (2014)
Warning: Talks about Santa not being real.
I wasn't impressed that there were several mentions of Santa not being real while I was watching with my four year old son whom you'd think this type of story would be suitable for. I get by the end they probably reveal how Santa is real after all, but given it's such a terrible film and it isn't likely to be watched to the end, be mindful of the message it might send/leave. Thankfully my son didn't comment but I was furious! - It was the first Christmas movie we'd sat down together to watch so not good!
The Wilds (2020)
A great watch but unnecessarily vulgar dialogue at times.
This is one of those shows that makes you want to keep watching more. There's A LOT of f-bombs though throughout and the dialogue can be unnecessarily vulgar at times unfortunately. Otherwise, an interesting story and a great idea.
The Last Man on Earth (2015)
A quality comedy
I was so sad this ended! This show is a laugh a minute and so well thought out. Love, love, love it!
