Nurses: Son of a Pilot (1991)
Season 1, Episode 1
8/10
Episode 1
2 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I love how this series starts by pointing out that medical care cannot always be trusted, which actually happens again further in the series. While Greg seems to be the most difficult nurse to work with he is actually called on the best nurses.

Sandy's background comes to the front. I love the character Sandy and how actress Stephanie Hodge portrays her, so her background being explained is always fun.

It's amazing how Julie manages to perform her job while having so many fears.

Pretty good episode: 8/10.

My favorite GG show
1 October 2020
Out of all three Golden Girls series (Empty Nest, Golden Girls and Nurses) this is my favorite.

I'm a big fan of Stephanie Hodge so I especially enjoyed the first two seasons. But the third season was also good. I am dissapointed this show was stopped after three seasons. I'm still hoping to see new season.

As far as I know Stephanie Hodge is not seen in starring roles these days, which means seeing her in new seasons of Nurses would be an awesome combination.

It gets even better

Pretty good starting episode, it even gets better throughout the season. Although I thought the introduction of the characters could have been more extensive. I rate it an 8 out of 10.

Flabberific!

My favorite part about the show was actor Billy Forrester as the character Flabber. I'm hoping he can have his own spin-off show with the other House Monsters.

Koeliejoelie!

I grew up watching this series on the Dutch Fox Kids channel between 2003 and 2005. Although not all episodes were shown the show had an awesome Dutch dub and an even more awesome Dutch theme song.

Good series
27 August 2020
When this series was rebooted in 2019 I was an instant fan.

Actress Simone Kleinsma as the main character Kees Heistee is worth gold.

I absolutely LOVE the theme song. The music, the graphics and editing are all awesome. The only lousy thing is that the length is only 30 seconds, my preference would have been one minute. Ending credits would have also been neat, currently even the guest actors are not mentioned in the credits.

Marjolein Touw played the character of Toos (the mother of Coosje) in the year 2020. A another combination of a good actor and a good character. I was dissapointed she was only in one episode in 2020, I'm hoping she will get more screentime in the next season.

Actor Jan Elbertse played the role of principal in 2019. A great episode.

Watching earlier episodes I noticed I became a fan of actor Rik Hoogendoorn as the character Ben Heistee. It's a shame he left the series after five seasons.
