Holes (2003)

A frolicking romp of a story

Imagine my surprise after 30 minutes and half a bottle of rum when I discovered that that was not in fact a sequel to the Banger Sisters. After my immediate shock wore off I finally accepted the movie for what it was, an okay way to spend time.

This is by far Shia's best work by far. If only his career has ended here we would all be sitting around going hey remember that guy? Instead of the repulsion we have now when seeing him. If you want to enjoy a performance from Shia before he ruined Indiana Jones and made whatever the hell Transformers is this right here is your chance.

Holes isn't for everyone, but you should give it a try.

Piggy (2020 TV Special)

I want to go to Key West

I am not going to spoil anything here, but if you haven't seen this yet make sure you're missing out. I'm still not entirely sure what I just saw but I can't stop laughing.

The costume was as grotesque as anything I've ever seen, Piggy is simply vile but he's still totally awesome and I think we all come away having learned a little something from this story. Let's be honest Amazon probably already has a chimera in the works already.

When asked to describe War and Peace one can simply say "It's a story about Russia", but with Piggy it's so complex you have to actually see it.

I really want to go to Key West now.
