You would think that after all these years of movie making... people going towards the "dangerous noise" that actors and directors alike would know better than to write a script using the lines "stay right here I'll be right back I promise" or have nobody question the ridiculously dumb decisions people make like dropping car keys at the most needed time or driving a car that doesn't require a push start.... Ridiculous.

They really went hard explaining the ectoplasm but didn't actually shows us any at all not even any documented videos or anything we can believe. Not to mention the channeling the spirits with high pitched voice over voices and not really saying anything concrete. All they did was make a funny voice and say some of the most general crap things but I guess the voice makes people over look the fact that they aren't giving any specifics to determine the authenticity. These people go in talking about how they won't accept things that aren't generally vague. But once they go into this voice they throw their skepticism out the window.

Remember the little deformed faced girl from midsommar? Her twin brother was in this movie singing... I think they even ate at the same table the people did in midsommar right after they took off the same exact outfits the actors in the new wrong turn wore... I'm shocked they actually had the balls to do this and put the word classic in the title... I want to punch my tv 📺 🤛 that's how annoyed I am at the audacity!!!

... some of the over acting and cheesy "I think he left us a map" with a puzzled face... I couldn't bear to watch cause it made me cringe.... Terrible terrible dramatic acting it's like dramatic with no emotion.... Can't believe tik tokers are going crazy over this..... actually wait yes I can believe it ... i watched this and could only point out everything cheesy about it... it's literally all I could see so I couldn't get into the movie. There's an airplane that left and came back... a sick child.... And a couple cops who are way too emotionally involved.... What's different? I saw this with the returned....

So I watched this after the phenomenon and that probably ruined it for me... after watching the phenomenon this seems almost comical and definitely based on more opinion rather than facts... if you're after facts then go watch the phenomenon and there isn't much beyond that which will show proof and tell the backstory... if you're after just being told stories with no actual proof solely for entertainment purposes then this is for you. I personally want facts and proof so it wasn't for me... the "Far side of the Moon" episode was ridiculous with some random guy explaining some cockamamie story about being sent to the moon to protect earth for 20 years like wtf come on man Randy Kramer probably talks to himself and answers himself as well... he was returned 15 mins after he left but was gone for 20 years... thats called a dream not time travel foh.

Had Me Going I can't believe it was this good. I had to double back and check if it was a documentary or a mockumentary. Any time one of these movies make me do that then it's automatically good to me... it built that creepy hair stand up vibe for me and that's what I need in a horror movie... it's been done before so do not expect something new but you can definitely expect it to do its job so PLEASE GO WATCH!!!! The ending was light but it's great for a hidden indie gem...

"mom look at the shooting stars"... she looks up and says calmly "those are satellites Noah" my question is how the heck do you know what something 96million or more miles away is with the naked eye? Wtf. This movie actually made decent actors look terrible I AM IN ABSOLUTE DISBELIEF THIS MOVIE HAS THIS MANY INCONSISTENCIES AND HOLES IN IT...howd they get out the church untouched? When did they meet up again to be running through the Woods? WT Fn F!?! Poppycock I say!

From the people who brought you Babadook once again they executed a great suspenseful psychological horror movie... the fact that they advertised this using that fact (brought to you by the makers of Babadook) was by all means what I used to measure this movie so I came in expecting that psychological twist ... I'm a real horror fan so in this day and age it takes alot to keep me interested and it really doesn't have to be "new" or "never before done" as long as it keeps me in suspense along with some interesting scares I'm happy... now I'll agree the ending could've been much better but altogether I liked and enjoyed it... real horror fans will also... it's no Babadook but it's deff his 2nd cousin from his moms side...

They got stuck somewhere between the saint maud symbolic style and "screw it let's just make a monster movie" because I thought for a second they were going to play on the "addiction is a monster" thing but then where would a monster killing a tow truck driver fit in in that so I 86d trying to interpret it in that way and thought to myself "I'll just enjoy a monster movie" and that worked when all else failed so I gave it 6 stars... with that being said dumb decisions are never good... especially when in a life or death situation where you actually have a minute to think about what your going to do instead of just having to do it... but it executed edge of your seat nevertheless.... if you go into watching with more of a monster movie expectation then it's going to suck for you... enjoy yourself watch a horror movie and stop whining...

I can't believe I didn't stumble on this sooner and it took for Amazon movies to put this in their black hole queue of movies for me to stumble on it when I was searching fir a horror movie.... I've literally searched every horror horror thriller supernatural horro horror thriller mystery and never came across this.... now with that said it was excellent acting was excellent story line excellent and the fear factor was good enough to creep me out....

That's a line from this movie ... if you have this movie anything above a 2 star rating then you were either A involved in making it and a friend of the directors or B your mother fed you paint chips as a kid and now as a result you've lost your damn mind... imma go ahead and jump off a bridge now cause at least then I'll get the jump scare for nothing I was supposed to get in this film... the female actor was laughing at a moment that should've been building up fear... comical BS.

As an avid horror movie fan I cannot believe this movie has been out over a year and didn't land on my radar... I've searched blumhouse horror movies once or twice a week just to see what they come up with... I watch all the shudder releases and somehow didn't find this until I searched an unknown website and there it was...
This movie was great the acting is authentic the Jewish community theme was grasped in terms of the way they are and the way they move.
In addition to that it was a scary movie and although the budget wasn't huge it executed well and the actors did well at creating an authentic creepy theme... I was surprised and pleased ... highly recommended

I was impressed by the whole one take idea, however I felt like the ending sucked and they often walked through doors that they had just walked through moments earlier and acted like they were lost too much so it seemed like over acting... Ok so for a low budget film ... I think it's safe to use the words hidden gem... (loosely) . I think while someone Could've probably used a low budget better Kelly Schwarze did a fine job of building suspense building characters and building up to a climax in the first two acts.... I must say I was impressed with the acting which seemed very natural .. the actress fell a bit short During her scared scenes however she and her friend did great at capturing an authentic relationship... as did the wise old man... I felt like side from the haunting life in a foster trailer is probably exactly like this... Abigail looked terrifying and Marge nailed "haunted cyco" so I am glad I watched it because I needed a deep breath of horror even if it wasn't "fresh"
