Remarkably surprised
8 December 2020
I was remarkably surprised at how good the writing and execution of the plot worked. At this time in our society, it brings to our attention the matters still going on.

Surprisingly good
30 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I have liked Jeffery Dean Morgan for when he played Denny on Grey's Anatomy.

Here is stars as a Grieving father who's daughter and son-in-law , on their honeymoon have been murdered.

He is allowed to use his Detective skills to help them figure out the crimes and who might be behind it.

All and all this is a good drama and psychological thriller combined.

Very moving

Warning: Spoilers
Have you ever felt like the life you had is taken away in a blink of an eye? Were you angry at God?

Rick's life changed five years ago on Thanksgiving day.

Rick is so despondent he was just going to end his pain and suffering. As he is driving he sees a woman sitting beside the road. Something rugs at his heart and he picks her up. As the day progresses they learn about each other and the things that happened in their lives. Grace tells Rick he has to have faith that God has a plan.

This movie touched all my heartstrings. It was a good movie that makes one think, be grateful, and to remember God is always there and he has a plan

If you love romance Than ...
13 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
My hopeless romantic heart always falls in love with a Nicolas Sparks novel and when made into a movie better yet.

Typical playground 101 Travis. Gabby is a young girl chasing a dream to be a doctor, Travis is a local vet who owns a house right beside the ocean and right beside the cottage Gabby is renting.

It isn't love at first sight.. and it is love slipping away. Will they find each other again? Or will they let it slide away?

Hazing gone wrong or suicide.
4 August 2020
The police are called to the river where the body of a teenage boy is floating under the ice.

Could have had more of actual police procedural then what it had. All in all the plot line was a decent but still lacked the power behind the ending events.

Good acting lead to the flow of the movie.

Crazy, I know
1 August 2020
I have this the maximum stars because this movie is just so good on many levels. My number one reason is I can watch it with my 17 yr old daughter and we laugh and comment. Thru the movie.

Cheesy, cute, adorable. Nice little rom/com. Doesn't hurt the guy who plays Noah is just plain hot.

Christmas and a murder
27 July 2020
This must be a Hallmark Suspense Movie. Just enough mystery to make it interesting with a few bits of cheesy romance.

Was a break from actual true crime dramas

So many great actors
23 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I ran across this on the Roku Channel and I love anything with Chris Noth.

Judge trying to call to light corrupt cops and higher ups gets framed. He seeks out a lawyer that he has held in contempt of court. Between a fired ADA, and two lawyers and an old police detective they bring justice to the case.

It was a good mini-series. Gave it an 8 because of the actors.

Fell down a rabbit hole
11 July 2020
I started watching it as a fluke but I am sure glad I did.

I love how the two main characters lives intertwine together. One a cop, one a guidance counselor and one of the two is a serial killer.

I really liked this show. Interested to see if there is will be a second season

Mystery maybe
9 July 2020
Caught this on. Amazon prime. Hadn't heard of this exact movie before.

Had the feel of a Hallmark Suspense movie. No major surprises and easily figured out before the movie wraps up.

It's okay for something you don't have to pay exact moment by moment detail.

Time killer
7 July 2020
Not Rays best acting but not his worst.

The base of the storyline was just okay. It could have been further developed as could more information on the sub characters and reasons why there was more than one splinter plot.

It was an okay filler of time but I would rather spent the time watching Goodfellas.

Meh.

I knew it was a Hallmark Suspense. It was good seeing Meat Loaf and Ally Sheedy.

Everything was mediocre for me.

Should have read reviews first

Dolph Has aged well and is good eye candy, however, this plot needed more.

More you might ask? It needed more storyline, better character development, and some more of something.

Boring

This movie was, in my opinion , lacking in details, the characters weren't as fully developed as they could have been.

Sure am disappointed.

The Best in The Intrigo Trilogy
23 June 2020
I would say this is the best one out of the three as far as storylines go.

A school girl disappears. Years later a former classmate starts interviewing people that the gir knew at that time. Her father was convicted, but was he the real killer and if so where's her body?

Kinda got a feeling on which way the story was gonna go, continued watching just in case it went a different direction.

Kinda boring
23 June 2020
This was not one of Ben Kingsley's best role but his facial expressions still get me.

A man shows up to get his advice on his book. He says he will only read a few lines of different parts of the book but ends up telling the whole story.

It is hard to follow or stay with the story without your mind guessing how it goes.

The ending is worth it.
23 June 2020
I read a lot of psychological thrillers and this one was long winded to get to the finale but it was worth it for the twist.

Some of the acting was over melodramatic but true Agatha Christie fans are accustomed to.

A travesty
15 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This show is based on the true life events of Cameron Todd Willingham. As he is sentenced to death row for the Capital murders of his three daughters in a fire ruled an arson.

He was executed even though new evidence was available to state the prosecuting witness was paid off, the mental expert never spent time talking to Willingham, was later hit with loss of his rights to practice, and the prosecutor is faced with charges.

The system is broken and this is a prime example that it is. Good acting

A Mans Fight For His Freedom
12 June 2020
Brian Banks was an upcoming football player in his youth all that is changed by a wrongful conviction.

I vaguely remember the story when it was in the news. However, I was watching a show on Oxygen Channel that has Brian and an attorney who look at convictions that basically should not have been.

I liked the movie. Yes, it could have moved along at a different level. But people confuse this, this wasn't an action film it was more of a memoir.

Over all was a decent movie.

Understand this is a TV movie version
11 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The casting was off, they threw in characters that weren't in the movie version, they made changes in some of the characters. Added different songs, changed scenes and songs.

It was more of Hallmark Feeling production. Totally made for tv not a big screen.

And Nobody can ever play Johnny to the scale of Patrick Swayze. Not no one to play the dad like Jerry Orbach did.

It's a 10
11 June 2020
Ageless is one word to describe this movie. I watched it in the theaters when it came out and fell head over heels for Patrick Swayze.

The acting is well done especially with The late Jerry Orbach as Baby's dad.

Takes one back to when times where a little simpler. Just a feel good movie for a hopeless romantic.

Decent movie:
2 June 2020
This isn't a spine tingling psychological thriller, this is about an attorney, who has suffered a personal tragedy, is called out of retirement to take a case.

As his investigator, his brother-in-law, his legal assistant, and him work through the particulars of the case, eventually he rights the wrongs.

I wouldn't pay money to see this in the theater, however, it was a good watch.

Not worth the time!!
27 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I normally don't give a bad review but I couldn't even finish it.

From her trapping him into marriage, letting his cat out, false pregnancy, and her overdramric actions. Once she tried to convince the lover her cop husband was abusing her. I stopped the movie.

Only a 2 because I liked Faith.

Coming of age
23 May 2020
Though the movie has its pluses it also has its minuses.

A young boy on the cusp of becoming a man deals with friendships, first love, and how the world works. His mother takes in a boarder and the boarder becomes the young's mans friend and confidant.

The blending between the two actresses is a great experience. They come across as good friends who know the other one so well.

Their laughter, their tears, the blend just makes this a wholesome feel good movie.
