The 100 (2014)
Can't believe I watched this whole thing
I guess I don't have the imagination for this show. Cause it really made very little sense. Even down to the final episode. Even my kids couldn't get past the first season.
I knew it was bad then but was hooked for some strange reason.
It was basically a train wreck. And who doesn't want to watch a train wreck.
Nearly every character flip flopped on being a good guy or a bad guy.
And when it finally came down to it, killing the one person that wanted all of humanity to live forever, was better than living forever. But that's ok. Everyone still gets to transcend. Unless you don't want to live forever. Then you can just come back and act like transcendence isn't that big of a deal.
Nope (2022)
Wanted to like this film
Movie was very slow. Dialogue wasn't great. Flashback scenes didn't have any business being in the movie. Movie was painfully long. I was up and out of the theater the second it ended. Would I ever watch it again. NOPE.
Gridlock'd (1997)
Funny
First time watching and it was funny. The idiocy of government bureaucracy. I don't know much about Tupac but he was awesome. Such a great actor.
Greenland (2020)
I was hooked
Having not ever heard of the movie I was intrigued. Usually don't care for Hollywood apocalyptic movies like Armageddon. Movie was really about 1 family. Not the accuracy of asteroids hitting earth. Glad I didn't read any reviews beforehand. Would have spoiled it.
Now I want to see a sequel. How do they survive when mostly all of the vegetation has been wiped out.
American Woman (2018)
Spoiler alert
Not every movie has to have A list stars or be full of drama to tell a story. It was a good movie. Acting was spot on. It's a story about one woman's struggle with family, missing daughter, domestic abuse, and a cheating husband. I'm sure a lot of mothers could relate. Just an all around good movie about life.
Human Capital (2019)
I liked it
It was kind of slow. Jumped back and forth. But it kept my attention. Liked seeing Marissa Tomei again.
