The Midnight Club (2022)
It dragged
This really dragged for me. I found it also really depressing, a lot of self stuff and how tough they all have it. I understand that it's a hospice but it just wasn't moving. Literally nothing was answered, it was just a bunch of their own stories being told and honestly the meaning was lost on me. Well I got the meaning that was being relayed but it just wasn't moving. His other shows had moved me deeply. Maybe I'm just a different person now than last year lol but it does look like others felt the same.
I definitely felt a little cheated when it ended...
This 600 character thing is a little much lol.
Barbarians (2020)
Just fantastic thank you
Yesss, finally I can give out a 10! It's been a while where I can whole heartily give it a 10. Id give it more if I could. I really loved this show. 6 episodes in each season, so it's not too long, just the right amount of action. I could follow the main characters and their trial and tribulations for days lol. Ari is amazing. Thusnelda is powerful. Love Folkwin, and the show just won't be the same without him but it was inevitable.
I love historical drama that shows heart and passion and the crazy world of how people lived back then. I'm super eager they make a third season because I'll be watching it!
The Watcher (2022)
Not good
I can't believe I'm watching this show still. It's just NOT good. It's like a parody the entire time. Or those really bad cheesy horror movies where you're shaking your head at the characters really dumb decisions. Lots of "revelation of the method", with the baby killing ritual mentioning adrenochrome, the crisis actors, like are the people behind this show making fun of us? Or exposing something to us? I'll go with the former.
I've been pressing the move forward 10 second button lots, hoping there will be something that will finally grab me or make me invested in this story or characters but 5 episodes in and nope!
Watch The Sinner season 4 instead :)
The Most Hated Man on the Internet (2022)
Yikes, another narcissist cult leader
Whoa. An expose on a criminal narcissistic sociopath, and the sad amount of empty followers he had. I can't believe he only got two years when he is clearly a sadistic, unremoresful, fame hungry criminal. I had a really hard time watching all the way through, based on all the trash that was being shown, the language and deprevity of the people who would follow this site, but knew it ended with some justice, so kept on for that. Proud of that woman/mom who kept on and persevered to make sure the right thing was done.
Overall, it was a well documented show, glad its over and can gladly move on from hearing and seeing such trash being uttered by lonely hurting people.
Senna (2010)
Moving
I found myself in a state of mourning all day after watching this. He really was profound in his ability and passion. Young and devoted, with a strong faith, I found myself falling for this man. He had this humility about him with an upmost love and commitment to the art of racing. Seeing his dislike for politics and almost being burdened by it have me a great level of respect for him. I could relate to him being disheartened around the "game" getting in the way of the pure form of racing, which is what he loved to do. When he recounted his favourite competitor, he talked about his racing days before Formula One, before money and politics, being his favourite and most fond. It showed a lot of his heart and who he was in that statement and then to pass away at a young age while racing... I just think who would he have been and who would he be now, if things had been different.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
Lol I like shark movies
The Shallows is still my favourite shark movie. I don't think you can go into a shark movie expecting much, so coming from that angle this one deserves an 8!
It's quality production value, has that whole teenage fun vibe, and delivers on the suspense and story. Some shark movies are just so bad (most of them), but this one is good!
Rhythm + Flow (2019)
This show was dope.
Give me more! Very unique competition show watching experience! Love me some hip hop. Hip hop artists are so creative and it was cool to see it in motion. Also loved seeing the inner workings of the industry. Seeing the cities the auditions were in, and hearing a bit of history of each city was rich. I usually don't respond to the haters but damn y'all are haters! Cardi B impressed.

Aw Yiss
I'm very happy to see this have high reviews. I clapped once it finished and thanked the screen. Just all around great. Character development, check. Zombie filled stressful moments, check. I thought it was very neat to have most of it in happen within one location, and all the creative ways these kids, together, stayed alive. It's almost believable and realistic on what it would look like. Explored grief and relationships in a beautiful way. It was longgg, it never seemed too long and the length served the snow. Loved going on this journey with these heroes :)
Das Privileg (2022)
Not bad at all
I gotta jump on here and give it a vote, because it's not bad at all! Creepy but has a story. It was slick and had good production quality. Had some "Get Out" reminiscent stuff near the end, secrets, uncovering. I mean.... I'm not mad at it and would recommend as a fun watch and worth one's time.
Wentworth (2013)
Just one of the best
I have stuck with the show over the years, so bittersweet to say goodbye. I loved these characters. This show never got old. The suspense and the building of each season was just so top notch. Even when we lost main characters that were loved, they managed to bring in new ones that you quickly fell in love with and rooted for. I wish I could give it many more stars. Thank you Wentworth.
Archive 81 (2022)
Good show
Kept me intrigued until the end and has left me thinking about it after. Loved the creepiness but the focus was on the mystery and the different storylines. There's not a lot like this out there. It has mystery, sci-fi, some horror elements. Reminded me a bit of The Sinner, with the dark sex stuff kinda vibe lol. You definitely want to go in not expecting anything and commit until the 3rd/4th episode where the story really gets going. Heard there's talks of a second?! I will look forward to more shows like this 👌
Nine Perfect Strangers (2021)
I felt good after watching this
Oh I thought this was so great. Felt like I could breathe better after watching it. Nicole Kidman does it again, she is in everything! Love what she does. Melissa McCarthy has never been better. All the acting and characters were great 👌, it was funny and moving and took me on a journey. Highly recommend!
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
I love you, Dexter Morgan
I can't not give Dexter a 10. I truly think Dexter is my favourite character of all time, I agree with other reviewers, a role Michael C Hall was born to play. I rewatched the original season before I started New Blood and after all these years I was so invested and it stood out among the best. There's ALOT of good tv out there, and rewatching the whole series was one of my favourite tv watching experiences.
I thought they did a great job of this season. Paralleling some aspects, doing a good job of showing his age and where he would be now. Contrasting the bright Miami scene with the cold and dark. Great suspense, great storytelling, great villain. But I'm seriously so sad about the ending. I never want to see Dexter go. I'm confused why Harrison had to be so angry. That letter was beautiful! He finally had a chance to live with his dad and he killed him, wtf :(
But it's true... he did break the code.. but it was for you Harrison!!
Dexter is a good guy. Dexter lives truer to his values than most, and for that I salute you.
I love you Dexter Morgan RIP.
The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021)
I reeally liked this show
👏👌😍
I'm just here to give it a 10.
Funny
Charming
Super likeable characters
Great acting
This review is making me write 150 characters to post it and I don't have a big long review to write because it's just a dang enjoyable show and I want to show love. Fingers crossed this was enough this go around..

What Happened, Brittany Murphy? (2021)
Good.
Was surprised to see a lot of similar comments expressing outrage around using social media clips.. it's almost like they missed the point of why they were used? There was a lot of speculation around how this could have happened. The documentary's focus was on "what happened", so they painted a narrative using the speculation throughout media, her close friends, and the professionals that were involved in her autopsy. I think it really captured an interesting story which made you think on how something like this could happen to a young star. "It was benal", said the reporter, as to why it happened. Meaning it lacked in originality. Meaning that it wasn't some elaborate scheme or diabolical planned death, it was just a girl who was vulnerable and fell into the hands of unsavoury environment/people (person). A tale often told which is what makes it so sad and tragic.
The 2 part series highlighted who she was; expressed by her close friends and co workers whom spoke so highly of her, which was also made obvious throughout the clips shown. Was a good job done. Honestly.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Love these
I'm just here to give it a 10. Such beautiful moving shows. It's all about love and family but told through a slightly spooky story. I'm always so moved at the end of these shows (including the two haunting of house hill). The monologues are beautiful and really profound. I always learn a lot and am left with lots to consider. I could keep watching these and look forward to more to come in the future. Such October treats!
Knock Knock (2015)
It's a 1 from me dawg
I'm so happy this has under a 5 star rating. Maybe there is hope in our kind as a collective! I've never done a 1 star rating before, but here goes...
I used the 10 second "skip ahead" on the last 30 minutes just to get through it and get to the ending to see if there was anything redeeming. And as my review suggests.. there just wasn't. Eek.
Kastanjemanden (2021)
A Ten
What's there not to like? If this was the only TV out there, I would be satisfied. Great likeable characters, interesting mysterious plot, well paced, slow and steady pace that kept you glued. It was the perfect length. Had a lovely twist that tied into the past. Honestly what a scrumptious show and great story telling. Well done Denmark 👏 and keep it coming!!
Karppi (2018)
The kind of tv I want to watch
Foreign tv shows are just doing a thing. I find them so understated in the best way possible. The acting is so nuanced! It's literally feels like you are just watching people do their thing. They aren't showing you they are acting on their faces - they are just existing normally and I really appreciate it. Really fell for these two characters Nurmi and Karppi. Loved their chemistry and the way they cared for one another without the drama. Great slow storytelling and detective work. Will miss these two characters and this show until a third season appears.
Zone blanche (2017)
Oh I like you Black Spot
The kind of show I want to watch. Love the atmosphere it creates with the darker but vibrant colour palette (think misty forest vibes). Any foreign tv show with a mysterious element, I'm in. A bit supernatural. Acting is spot on. It's one of those shows that I want to linger on and have a hard time starting a new one because I just want these vibes at all times! Will miss it until there's a season 3 - fingers crossed!
Canine Intervention (2021)
So very confused with the reviews here.
I could watch 100 episodes of this show! It's so clean and tight and seamless in watching. Amazing display of the power of the right attention and discipline with dogs and how it can transform them. Loved his leadership and how it translated to the owners (humans), who evidently needed it the most. He's doing a very important job out there in the world and love his original flavour and vibe.
The needs of dogs are very much the same as the needs of humans when it comes to development and this show makes that super evident. How can you not enjoy seeing these dogs highlighted and their stories of transformation then how the owners change themselves! Awesome and I want more. Didn't read what people were saying but like what? What's there not to like? Very strange.
Keep the puppers coming :)
Your Honor (2020)
Glad I don't always listen to the reviews
Putting a 10 because this show deserves way more than a lot of the reviews. Wanted to wait until the last episode of the series but here goes. Fully entertained by this show. Great suspense and acting. What I liked most was seeing the main character, Michael Desiato, navigate all these tricky situations to stay ahead of a scenario that looks doomed to fail. I'm pretty good at problem solving and this show leaves me stumped as to how I would navigate all the life threatening situations as Michael does. That's where I get my entertainment from. It's stylized real nice. Is it realistic? I don't know, it's about a crime family and a judge, I'm neither and this isn't reality? Is the son's decisions annoying? Absolutely. I would love to say I wouldn't make the same decisions as him as a 17 year old but Im not him and not 17 anymore, so who's to say.
I have looked forward to my Monday's the last 8 weeks to watch the new episode of this series, so that's saying something! Will be sad when it's all over :)
Slaughterhouse Rulez (2018)
This was fun
Fun movie with good laughs. I enjoy both Finn Cole (Animal Kingdom) and Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) on screen. Quirky fun not meant to be taken too seriously. Has a bit of a coming of age vibe to it which I always enjoy and love a British accent to boot!
Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer (2021)
Good Documentary
I liked this one a lot. I've been crushing a lot of true crime lately (most all on Netflix) and it was nice to see one that showed good investigative work and some true detectives who did a good job and worked together with other units to catch this guy. Most of the true crime documentaries show how faulty the justice system is and how biases run show, which can lead to poor investigative work and prosecution.
Definitely a creepy one. This guy obviously created a lot of havoc and the entire time I felt creeped out.
Only 4 episodes and I felt well done in that amount of time.
I hadn't know much about The Night Stalker before this, it was a good recap to get an understanding of the story and it felt like I was watching a detective show about catching the guy. Recommend.
Ava (2020)
I guess just why?
I just don't understand the point of making a movie like this. Money, time, professionals and that's what's made? Did not sympathize with a single character. Did not buy in to the story at all. How can some go so wrong when others are so good.
